🐶 THE DAY OF THE DOG 🐶

Thursday will be our second annual celebration of Kukur Tihar! For those of you who don’t remember last year or those who don’t know about this celebration, Kukur Tihar is an ancient festival in Nepal.
The festival runs for five days but one of those days is dedicated to celebrating and honoring dogs and their special relationship with us. The people of Nepal do this by adorning them with flower garlands, bathing them and placing a mark on their foreheads to show their love for them. They also give them special foods including meat, eggs and other delicacies.
We will have our own celebration for our pack! We will have special food including egg, cheese and most likely hot dogs because we KNOW those are some of their favorite things! We also will adorn them with leis and a special mark with washable, non toxic, pet safe paint. Please give permission for your dog to participate in our celebration if they will be at the playhouse on Thursday. We are so excited to celebrate our pack again!

Taylor and Travis (aka Winnie and Hank) took the win for best costume! Congrats to the cute couple! All of our babies were adorable and winners in our book! Thank yall for making Halloween so fun for us and your pups ❤️

The pack showed up with the cutest costumes! Thank you to all of the moms and dads who worked hard to make sure these babies showed up dressed to impress!

Baxter’s is ready for Halloween! If you are out and about on Halloween with your dog, stop by our playhouse for a treat!
Our staff will be handing out treats for the dogs in our community tomorrow from 2pm-5pm. Please ring our doorbell and we will bring out a treat for them! You don’t have to be part of our pack to come enjoy a treat! Share this post for us! We can’t wait to meet some of your cute dogs 🐶

We are gearing up for our Halloween party tomorrow! There will be a few fun surprises for the dogs! We can’t wait to see all of the pups in their costumes! They are going to look so cute! Our costume contest will be voted on by you! The winner will be whoever has the most votes added together from Facebook and Instagram. The winner of the best costume will receive a free daycare day! We can’t wait for all of the fun 👻🎃🐾

Marvel sang his 4:00 song for the pack on his birthday 🥳

Marvel has been out of daycare this summer and we sure did miss his call to the wild! Every day he does his call at 4:00. We have no idea why. We welcome any guesses that you may have! Today, he was a little early….he was excited to be back and had definitely missed letting us know what time it was! Side note - he sees me recording at the end and was way too cool to continue on camera. That’s our Marvel! Welcome back, big guy 😎
