Whenever an adoption doesn't work out it is heartbreaking. Our first and foremost goal is to find these animals happy forever homes. Dale was returned by his new owner today because he pulls too much and gets too excited. The owner tried to abandon him in the lobby and when that did not work made vailed threats to abandon him elsewhere. Dale is a six month old puppy. You can see in the video that the leash is loose while he walks. He does pull a bit when he gets excited to see something new but is easily corrected. He, like every other puppy, does need some training. He also needs a home that can show him the love and patience he deserves. ❗️❗️Urgent Update❗️❗️ Bartok and Cinderella have been extended until 12 PM 12/17 URGENT Commitment needed for Bartok and Cinderella by 12PM 12/12. Maverick and Kahlua have been adopted and Petey has been rescued. Bartok and Cinderella are still hoping for their Christmas miracle!!! Bartok A0057013160 was named for his adorable bat ears. He has been with us 67 days. He will hold his leg up (it looks like he hurt it but he's fine) whenever he is begging for something. He is super sweet with people but is more aloof with other dogs. He prefers to just hang out rather than play with them. Cinderella A0057030624 has been searching for her home for 64 days. She is calm and cuddly. She is a little nervous on meeting new people and dogs. with the way she jumps when startled it is very possible she has been hurt before. She needs someone understanding to give her the chance to show how loving she is.

Update! Maverick has been adopted. Armadillo is missing him terribly but is happy for him! Best of buds Maverick and Armadillo having a great time playing together!

Puppers Thanksgiving day was a huge success thanks to our volunteers and all those who donated food for the animals to enjoy! Every single one of our animals got an amazing thanksgiving meal thanks to you and we couldn’t be more grateful!
