If 2025 is the year you've decided to be a champion for animals, we've got an easy way to help you reach your goal! Simply give up one cup of coffee, a dollar menu item, a movie ticket -- once a week or once a month -- and be part of the lifesaving work we do to end animal suffering in our region. It's so simple! With the blast of Arctic cold about to hit us hard, it's the perfect time to dream of warmer days ahead. Save the dates and join us for spring and summer fun in Ruth's Garden, starting with a Kentucky Derby party on May 3. Start your hat plans now! Then on June 9, the first of our summer day camp sessions begin. And on June 20, the very popular Beatles cover band, Tangerine Trees, will perform live in the Garden. Last year's concert was a sold-out success! We'll be back in touch with more details, ticket and registration links.

Pets to Go! helped 3 puppies find their new homes in the past few days. They were from a litter of 8 and are now about 2 months old. There are still 2 adorable puppies needing homes. Merle and Astro, both males, are listed on Petfinder and Adopt A Pet. Or contact Nancy Foltz at [email protected] or 704-616-4904.

Pets to Go! had a successful first year with 114 cats and dogs adopted. Among the last to be adopted were 4 long haired kittens who were found under an outbuilding. They were in rough shape but a lot of TLC and the devoted care of foster parents got them healthy and ready to go home. Thank you for supporting all of Animal League's programs to help pets.
Nancy Foltz is the Pets to Go! director if you have questions about the program or are looking for a pet. [email protected] or 704-616-4904
