We’re back!!
Today I had my first lesson back and it went amazingly!

Thank you all for being so patient with me as I spent these last several months staying home with my son. I’m so blessed to have lots of families returning to lessons and gaining some new families as well!

Figured I should share with everyone here as I hit the halfway mark.

We’re expecting our baby boy in December and couldn’t be more excited!! I’m still offering riding lessons till December and will continue after a couple short months. All the client horses have been sent home finished and I hope to offer training again as soon as I can after our little cowboy is here.

Jersey is all moved into her new home!

So blessed to have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing horse. It’s crazy to think about how far she’s come; being a very dangerous and scared horse to trusting her with lesson kiddos and in a new home.

Both Jersey and her new owner have such potential and I can’t wait to see what they accomplish together.

This page has been neglected this year, but not the business! We’ve been booming, lots of new client horses, full lesson schedule, and great things still to come!
Here’s an update:
Last ”posted”client horses made huge progress. One is being rode by her young owner in riding lessons and getting excited for trail riding while the other is currently looked for her forever home!
Past client horses (that unfortunately weren’t posted) have came and went with great progress including:
Rillo, Duke, Booster, Missy, Buttermilk, and Magnum- who is currently up for sale! (Great kids horse!) On top of all that I’ve sold a lot of horses for a lot of clients since last posting.
This business is just getting started, and I can’t wait to see how far it goes! Thank you to everyone who has helped me build this amazing dream of mine!!

Indy had her first ride today!!
She didn’t quite understand the whole situation but handled it very maturely. Excited to see how her training continues!

Meet Indy!!
Indy is in for a groundwork review and getting started under saddle. Her past is unknown, no problems with throwing the saddle on (waiting for her underbelly to heal before cinching) She is still working on standing patiently but getting better and her lunging is great. I’m excited to get on her!

Meet Sis!
A client horse who is in for getting started with groundwork and under saddle. Not overly reactive, very pleasing and in your pocket. She’s coming along nicely in just the 3 days she’s been getting worked. Getting so good at halter work and standing tied, lunging is coming along, saddled her for the first time today and she was very hesitant but behaved pretty well under the circumstances. The owners daughter dreams of being a barrel racer, this horse may be the one to get her to those dreams!

The power of trust, love, and kindness is so strong and effective! This mare came in biting, kicking, rearing, and charging. Now she’s become a loving puppy that adores people she trusts! I love to see these dramatic changes.

The newest project “Hazel” is coming along nicely! Completely halter broke now, stands tied for hours, desensitized with whips, bags, and many other objects. Been saddled and bridled, and today got into the trailer since we brought her home! Her personality is so kind and she takes on each new skill so well! I have a feeling she’ll be sticking around.

These project horses have been so great for our lesson kids. These kids get to watch and learn in real time how to train a horse. They see live demonstrations with real reactions, get to have their share of halter training, desensitizing, lunging, and finally ride. They get to watch the work they’ve help put in make a difference. It truly is a blessing!
