💕 Boarders 💕 Ziva’s brother and housemate, Zeus and Bailey, stayed with us as well just didn’t get photos.
Did you know CoDa can board your pup? While with us they get to go out for play groups, romp around on our 7 acres, and if you want to add it to their boarding we can introduce them to the pool!
Quizz is a pretty insecure dog and super suspicious and nervous with the leash. This is something we’ve noticed right off the bat when he came for training. We’ve been working on a “touch” trick with him and now utilizing it to help him work through his stress with something going over or around his head.
The only goal right now is that he boops his nose to our hand and then gets paid!
Had an inhome lesson with Zeus! His owner got to see the benefits of a mentally stimulated and content dog. Towards the end of his session he chose to lay down and hang out, something his owner said she’s never seen him do.
Do we rent out our pool?!
The answer is yes!!! We offer dock lessons and dock rentals!
For those that have never introduced their dogs to dock diving we require a lesson(s) first to get you and your pup started. Those that are seasoned pros are welcome to rent out the pool privately!
Dock Lessons:
30 minutes - $45
1 hour - $70
Dock Rental:
30 minutes - $30
1 hour - $50

Merle had a good weekend learning how to swim and find our ramp! He went home and conked out after according to his owners (as you can see in the last picture)! We love helping owners find fun outlets for their dogs and Merle showed us he absolutely loved swimming and making splashes he could chase! 😂
Mabel has left the building!!! This is one we’ve been praying for, we’re so happy with the home she landed. ♥️ Have a happily ever after Maybelline.
A couple more students here on their first day! Sully and Troy are from one of the rescues we primarily work with and will be available for adoption once they learn some manners!
Mister Sully came in with a cone on due to an injury he had on his foot that’s in the last leg of being healed up.

Cream & Apollo are here for training! Both coming from Reflextion Ranch!
Cream is a pup we decided to pull from Kay as our next dog we’re going to be training completely free! This guy lacks a bit of exposure and confidence in himself so along with obedience we’ll be teaching that as well.
Apollo is a pup that’s super stuck in his head and doesn’t know how to self soothe or process his emotions. We’ll be teaching him obedience through play/engagement, as well as how to work through stress.
Kilo Update! Kilo is the dog we pulled from a euthanasia list from an animal shelter and we have been training him for drug detection work. Here he is working a patio looking for his kong. As you can see he knows his job well!!
Miss Wednesday is nearing the end of her board and train and we are working hard to proof her down in a lot of different situations and will see some of these in the video.
She gets a little anxious around bikes (and other wheeled object) so we have worked this angle in a lot of ways and can see a little of it in the first clip. Quizz and DOG even got to help us out!!

Our pup today is Hondo!! How has this guy not been swept up yet?!
Hondo is a loyal and loving male dog. He is affectionate and friendly, and enjoys spending time with his human friends. Hondo is an athletic dog who loves to run and play, and he is always up for a game of fetch or a long walk. He’s an intelligent dog who is always eager to learn and please, and he is a fast learner who is easy to train. While he has been described as friendly, we've taken it slow introducing him to other dogs, so caution should be taken when introducing him to new canines. He does NOT do good in a home with small dogs. As big as this guy is he’s a bit of a sissy. 🤣
We’ve had a lot of people contact us about Hondo with the intention to have him as a personal protection dog. Hondo IS NOT a good candidate for personal protection. He’s a great companion dog and over all stable and confident but is sensitive to pressure.

Today is a bittersweet day! Our Tripod girl miss Minnie is leaving today to prep to head north to her new family!
So glad Reflextion Ranch and Drowzy Dawg Rescue were able to get this girl on transport and get her the home she deserves. Of course we had to send her off with a little something from Texas. ♥️🌵
Best way to get out of the Monday blues? Training field trips! Quizz got to go with Madison to drop off one of her personal pups at the groomer. While there, took advantage of the new surroundings and big puppy dogs! Quizz wasn’t sure what to think! 😆
Group Training is fun and can be very productive! Check out these pups and what they’re individually working on!
Madea is learning how to be focused on her handler while dogs are present. She’s a Boerbol and genetically can be a bit more hyperventilate with dogs. She’s available for adoption through Reflextion Ranch
Wednesday has been learning to build up duration with any obedience she’s doing. For example, “Down” means you stay in a down until told “free” not down then pop right back up.
Remi who was previously one of our fosters but has now been adopted is just back for boarding and was doing some training just for fun! Always good to brush up the basics!
Ollie has been working hard throughout his board and train! Learning to stay focused around distractions and overall learning manners that will make him a more enjoyable companion.
Hondo crushed his down stay during the whole session, working around not only dogs but smaller dogs as well. Small dogs have been known to be his kryptonite. Hondo is available for adoption through us!

In Border Collie fashion, she’s been struggling a bit with things that have wheels. We’re helping her work through the stress she feels when around them.

Today is #FOSTERDOG Friday and today’s pup is Cash! Cash is the definition of a dog, he doesn’t care about anything but the affection you give him. This guy would love to crawl into your skin if he could as he wants nothing but to be with his person. With that being said, he would make an awesome companion for someone that loves to walk trails or even just sit outside and enjoy the morning air. He would lay down at your feet and enjoy the peacefulness, leaving him alone outside he may try to entertain himself! Cash loves to play with other dogs, but at time can be a little pushy so proper socialization is something we're focusing on heavily with him. Cash is just over a year old so he still has quite a bit of maturing to do, he’s up to date on all vaccinations and he’s neutered. Please take time out of your day to share this video of Cash for us. 💙
Mabel is a complete angel for nail trims. Cooperative care is something we like to work on with our foster dogs! Help future owners out with the things that could be tedious. Stairs are our favorite! It’s such an easy mental and physical activity to work on with your pup. Teaching them not to bolt up or down the step as you’re walking or even just building confidence with going up and down them like with Ramsey.

Fergus, Maeve, Brigid and Prince got dropped off for boarding today! The big dogs hit the pool to work on their dock diving skills! They’ve been coming out for lessons and while they’re here with us we’ll be getting them in the pool daily. They’re already progressing so nicely! Did you know you could incorporate time in the pool with your pooch while they’re boarding with us?! Just ask us!
