Bentley
Bentley is a big boy who knows how to throw his weight around. One of the biggest reasons he is here is to learn how to walk on a leash appropriately. He definitely earned an A+ this session!!

You can do so much with place once the dog knows it well!
Here we are working on sound desensitizing with Quizz, Cream, Sully, & Olivia. Cream and Quizz tend to get nervous around sounds so we use place in a setting they are familiar with and bring in sounds on a speaker and reward frequently and heavily!
In this clip it is knocking and a baby crying but we also did fireworks and door bells!
A dog that loves dock diving
To our surrounding neighbors… we promise we aren’t killing dogs. Someone’s just very upset it’s not her turn on the dock. 😅
Quizz and the Tunnel
Often times when teaching lessons, Madison will say “be your dogs cheerleader”. What does that look like and mean? This is a great example with no cuts on how additional reinforcements can help a dog.
Sometimes just using “cookies” isn’t motivating enough and often becomes repetition for the dog and the owner and doesn’t bring any additional enjoyment to the behavior you’re trying to build. It’s important to find what’s motivating AND engaging to the dog and in this case Quizz THRIVES off reassurance and praise. Now is it possible that you can talk too much to your dog and overwhelmed them? Absolutely but it’s important that you find what works for your dog.
Ash’s Adventure Day
What exactly is socialization and confidence building? Watch the video to find out!

Zeus and DOG have become play buddies. We are working on Zeus coming to us even when it means he has to stop doing something he enjoys. This little man did oh so good with this!’
