NOTICE: I wish to address the inflow of calls our clinic is having come in due to recent changes in hours & downsizing of staff at Coryell Veterinary Clinic. As most of you know, Dr. Newman & our clinic were already staying tightly booked; sometimes weeks in advance especially for surgeries. We are still actively pursuing another Associate Veterinarian and/or Relief Veterinarian to work with us but until that happens...our Receptionists will do our best to try to accommodate any local or surrounding community residents who will be calling trying to get in for an appointment with our clinic. We hope all will be patient & understanding as the two veterinary clinics & our community strive to work through these changes.

We have made the decision our clinic will no longer accept New Clients from areas such as Temple, Copperas Cove, Killeen, Lampasas etc. at this time.

The holidays can be overwhelming for pets with all the noise, visitors, and changes in routine. Create a quiet space, stick to regular schedules, and avoid exposing them to harmful decorations or foods. A calm pet is a happy pet!

Balls are for trees! 🎄

1. Neutered cats live longer, healthier lives, and are far less likely to fight other cats. FIV, FeLV, and other diseases are spread by cat bites sustained while fighting.

2. Neutered cats are less likely to spray. Smelly tomcat urine damages property and causes problems with neighbors and landlords.

3. Neutered cats are less likely to be trapped, dumped, or taken to a shelter. Being neutered advertises that someone cares and that they won’t be reproducing.

4. Neutered cats fight less often and less aggressively. This saves money on veterinary bills to treat abscesses and wounds.

5. Neutered cats stay closer to home. They are less likely to get lost, killed by predators, or hit by vehicles while roaming and searching for mates.
