of routine surgical procedures and highly recommend utilizing our surgical laser (even for routine spays/neuters) which results in less bleeding, pain and faster healing; we offer laser therapy which has been found to be beneficial in treating arthritis & numerous other inflammation complaints; small animal dentistry with digital x-ray; in-house diagnostics, digital x-ray, ultrasound, routine & wellness exams, vaccinations, medications, preventative medicines, micro-chipping, baths, & limited grooming, indoor/outdoor boarding facilities and offer farm calls. We stock Hill’s Science Diet and Royal Canin Prescription Diet pet foods.

Bar N Veterinary Clinic has displayed continual growth for over 30 years and consists of a very stable, long-standing client base, as well as a steady influx of new clients. Dr. Newman, our Practice Owner, has 40 yrs. experience, is well respected & valued by his clients. Bar N Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Part-time Kennel Technician to provide care for dogs and cats that board with us.

Including baths, working inside/outside and some yard work. Some minor computer skills needed.
Work schedule is maximum 32 hrs per week and weekend kennel duties on a rotating basis working Saturdays from 8-12 am, Saturday PM, Sunday AM, Sunday Noon, and Sunday PM Kennel.
* Must be 18 yrs or older
* Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs

Duties include: feeding, giving medications (oral and injectable), walking and playing with dogs and cats, cleaning cages/ kennels, washing dishes, laundry, monitoring boarder’s and keeping a daily log on them, bathing dogs, some computer work, make boarder reservations, talking to clients, checking-in boarder’s, giving kennel tours or happy visits to new boarders/clients, answering phones, mowing & weed-eating kennel yards and more cleaning.
** Benefits included are Sick leave and Paid Holidays

ADOPTED 9/30/24 🎉 ❤️ Up for ADOPTION ❤️ 9/23/24: June is almost 7 lbs now. She has been introduced to Blinky, our blind clinic cat and did really well. She also did really good with the dog that we introduced her to last week. Super lovable and she is oh so soft and cuddly. Come by and see her at Bar N Vet Clinic. 9/13/14: NEW HOME NEEDED! This small little darling is still looking for a new home. She is 5.5 lbs. She is so sweet and lovable. June Bug will be up front at Bar N Veterinary Clinic if you would like to come meet her. **See Comments under original post to see more video and pictures of June** Hey everyone! We got a new adoptable animal here at Bar N Vet Clinic. This sweetheart was living in our desert garden in front of the clinic for almost a month before we could catch her in a live trap. She was so skinny, wound/ scabs on her face and grasshopper legs impacted in her mouth. She was obviously not catching any mice. She weighed a mere 3.6 lbs and after 1 month she is at 5.6 lbs. We have treated her wounds, vaccinated and spayed her. She is Felv/FIV negative and current on flea prevention. She is acclimating well to being inside and loves people. Good with kids and noises. Doesn't seem to be too bothered by dogs or other cats. Adoption fee will be a donation to go back into our Charity Fund. Please call Jamie at 254-865-8466 if interested.
