I'm just a Shelter worker trying to find a way to spread the word about the wonderful Dogs and Cats available for adoption at Jackson County Animal Shelter in Gautier, Mississippi. That includes their spay or neuter, rabies vaccination, a 5 in 1 booster, a Bordetella, a free wellness exam to any Vet in Jackson County. I was supposed to go to WXXV 25 today for Pet of the Week but I kinda lost my voice and sound like a dude! Lol! But I'm gonna post her here and she should be featured on TV anyway. Meet Tulip! One of our longest residents. Over 7 months waiting for her Forever home! Please Share!
Tulip is a beautiful three year old pup who loves to explore and learn new things. With her flowery name, she looks just as beautiful as a fresh blossom. She is curious and friendly, and eagerly sit for treats. She is looking for a forever home where she'll have opportunities to go on adventures with her new family while also spending lazy days cuddling at home. Tulip is good with kids and dogs and looking for a home with no cats, as she can't fight the urge to chase them. She'll need a home with a secure fenced-in yard so she can run, play and explore without the risk of her hopping over to run after a neighborhood kitty. Tulip has a long list of wonderful traits that we know you are going to love! She just needs a family to give her a chance on showing off what a great pup she is! Our Story

The staff at the Jackson County Animal Shelter work tirelessly and are passionate about our animals. We try to give them the most loving environment possible while they are in our care. This page allows us to showcase our animals and provides a way for our community to help spread the word about our animals, events, and adoption specials. Our standard adoption fee is $50.00, which includes: spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, first set of vaccinations, a free veterinary examination (with participating veterinarians), and a free name tag from Two Dogs Dancing (in downtown Ocean Springs). If you see an animal on our page that you are interested in, please feel free to message us, and we will get back to you as soon as we can. For immediate assistance, you can contact our office at (228) 497-6350 or stop by the shelter anytime Monday thru Friday from 10:00am until 4:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
