🐾 Wish List Wednesday? 🐾

Ok... you got us... it's not Wednesday BUT we still are in need of some items at the shelter this week!

We are down to our last bottle of bleach!! 😬
We use A LOT of bleach in our shelter daily to help keep the environment, linens, and toys for animals clean and safe.

We are also in need of 6' chain leashes with handle. Sometimes are dogs can get a little unruly and love to play tug of war with their leashes. This leads to a possible safety incident as some of our pups are quick to chomp through your standard nylon leashes. Chain leashes help keep dogs and our volunteers safe, but don't worry were always sure to bring a tug toy along on their walks so they can enjoy their play time!

If you are feeling a little nostalgic this holiday season 🎄 be sure to come out to the Christmas Open house, Friday November 14 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. and get a tree carving made from branches of the previous state street Christmas tree. Proceeds to benefit the shelter!

Look for the table near the City Christmas Tree, near the Geneseo Historical Museum. Big thank you to Santa’s 🎅🏼elves for their hard work on these carvings.

🐾 Monthly Adoption Update 🏡

🔔 We love showing our appreciation to the community and our adopters by celebrating the animals who find their furever homes each month.

🎉 In October, 8 kittens, 8 cats, and 2 dog found their forever homes! A huge thank you to our adopters and supporters—you’re changing lives!

❤️ However, 68 cats/kittens and 12 dogs are still waiting for their second chance. We continue to take in more animals in need, and every adoption makes room for another rescue.

Looking to adopt? Stop by 4-6 PM, seven days a week to meet our cats. Dog visits are by appointment only. Fill out an adoption application online or at the shelter.
