Thank you to all our wonderful customers and friends for the gentle reminder that the scammers will scam. Yes the messages I've been receiving are scams. However, at what point do I get to not have to fight with Facebook on pretty much every post I try and make that includes the word mushroom, mushie or includes a picture of some beautiful culinary mushrooms? We have went round and round numerous times with the post flagging notifications and as far as I can tell there's no way to get them to understand that we shouldn't have to make five posts just to see if we can get one to actually stick. Yes I am tired of the Facebook fight, but will continue to keep the Page up and our events posted as much as possible. Thank you for the reminder friends! Julie and Alaric

Just a PSA to all off our friends and customers... the great dork of Meta has decided that our page will be permanently deleted due to trademark infringement or some such BS. This all after the last several years of having to fight to make them understand that culinary mushrooms are not illegal. With our posts getting constantly flagged, banned or getting put in Facebook jail because they can't understand the difference between shrooms and culinary mushrooms and that anything we post seems to get flagged. Since we no longer want to support the Zuckerberg imperial machine whenever they decide to do it, they can have at it. We are not fighting it, and quite frankly, I don't have that kind of energy and I don't care that much. The amount of time and energy their system puts into telling us that we have broken their community standards is exhausting. For the immediate future we will be posting on Instagram as our main source of public information. It may be time for us to go back to "old school" before Facebook made it so easy to connect and so very hard to disconnect. A parting poem:
