It’s SUNDAY! What are we excited about this week?! Booking holiday 🎄 events, 2025 showers 🚿 , and our VERY FIRST WEDDING 💒 !! This week our focus is on FALL - check out our Halloween boards, boxes, cuteie cups, and all the pretties! Tuesday Tips we will makeover our halloween bar and create fun cocktails! We will highlight our organic wine’s Wednesday with our Wine and Cheese pairing with Villa Graziella. We have a FUN weekend planned with LIVE music AND COCKTAILS 🍹! Be sure to follow us for details!

It’s “Boo” time & we put a sample “Boo Basket” together for the kiddos. The milk chocolate covered potato chips from Four Brothers are always a fan favorite. I couldn’t resist the “In My Spooky Era” paper plates and “Look What You Made Me Do” napkins to go with it! We also added the Bea’s Squeeze Pink Rose Lemonade and the Classic Lemonade to go with the festive Halloween witch cup. Keeping Chi-cuterie your one stop shop! The “I Am Enough” journal is always a good reminder for all of us, especially as the season changes and we begin to see more clouds and less sunshine.

�The Doe is a gracefully creamy handcrafted bandaged-wrapped Cheddar marbled with intoxicatingly aromatic pure Madagascar Bourbon vanilla bean. This special cheese begins with wholesome rBST-free milk from Wisconsin. During the cheese-making process, Deer Creek adds freshly ground whole vanilla bean and then age the cheese to allow the flavors to mellow and pe*****te throughout. The result is a uniquely perfumed velvety Cheddar that is savory with a sweetly woody finish.

Timeless elegance at its best! Designing flowers for Anna and Matt’s wedding was such a joy for so many reasons! We are a small business and when we get to work with other small, local business it makes us so happy! Anna’s mom owns one of our favorite places the in Geneva and it’s a gem! The decor is wonderful and their chicuterie boards are beautiful and yummy! And they have a beautiful space perfect for showers! Let’s not forget about the bride and the groom though! Such sweet people!!! And so in love!!! We are waiting for more gorgeous pictures from .jpeg and will post them asap! Thank you Michelle and Anna for trusting us with your family’s big day! Cheers!

“Love is patient. Love is kind.” Yes it is…

Anna and Matt’s wedding was a testament to this verse as we were reminded throughout their celebrations. This first photo (and others following) reflects the pure love experienced at their wedding. The depth of emotions was felt and shared by all - JOY. Truth. Faith. Sorrow. Honesty. Growth. Kindness. Purpose. Friendship. Community. We ALL heard it. We ALL felt it. We ALL experienced it. It was the most joyous day of my life since my children were born. Robert can’t stop talking about it either.

Our hope and prayer is that you ALL will experience it someday as well. There is nothing like it. And we hope we can be a small part of your most special day - using our bridal suite, our gardens for first look, our space for engagement parties and showers, or our catering services. We treasure these moments and would be honored to be a part of yours.

Thanks to our family and friends for sharing in this celebration, to our incredible vendors who made every last detail so special, and to our Chi-cuterie family for giving their hearts to ensuring the day was everything we had dreamed of and more! Cheers and many blessings to The Lansings!

There’s a new cheese in town and it’s available for purchase in our store along with everything else you see!

With our town celebrating Swedish Days, I felt it was important to share a few values Chi-cuterie holds near and dear to our hearts. Supporting local, high quality artisans who are as passionate as I am.

The stunning fresh fruit is purchased from Mick Klug Farm. Mick Klüg Farms focuses on providing sustainably farmed, hand-harvested, quality fresh fruit and vegetables to local and Chicago-based areas.
Mick Klug grew up on a 40-acre farm his parents established in the 1930s. He took ownership in 1974, and expanded the land to over 120 acres.
For the past several years, Mick has worked with his daughter, and son-in-law, successfully sharing management and ownership responsibilities to ensure land, operations & customer relationships stay within the family.
The NEW CHEESE has been rated by Culture Magazine in the top 60 of the very best cheeses around which is why we’re bringing it to our town. And there’s literally no wrong way to eat it! Everyone, come on in & meet BelGioioso Cheese, from Green Bay, Wisconsin This rindless Italian-style cheese, which took home First in its category at the 2023 ACS awards, is meant to be eaten young when its flavors are bright & milky, or aged for up to 2 weeks to develop a pleasant tang & softer texture. Cheeses at this stage are some of the most versatile: take it in a dessert direction by baking it into cheesecake or serving with fresh raspberries & wildflower honey, or go savory by melting it over a pizza or a burger.

If you’re someone who sees a recipe & simply wants to create what you see, you’re in luck! Chi-cuterie is intentionally a one stop shop. The fresh honey is locally made by a sweet mom in our area, called Cece’s Honey. The edible flowers which pull everything together and make it taste as beautiful as it looks are located right next to the Potter’s Crackers you see. I specifically chose these crackers because of the exceptional taste with the combination of the cheese, fresh fruit, and fresh honey.

This week, Nuckleheads 😍! Tomorrow I’m going to be at from 7-10 pm. Saturday I’ll be at from 3-6 pm and Sunday I’ll be singing and playing a pre-game show for starting at 12:30pm as well as the National Anthem for the game. Hope to see you there 🤩

A year ago we were planning all the details for our ribbon cutting and our one year celebration. In one way I feel like that was so long ago & in another way I feel like it happened yesterday.

Fast forward to today and we’ve taken more of my dreams and said “YES”. There have been a few nights of tossing and turning with very few hours of sleep, especially when our path hit bumps. This weekend god heard my prayers, seeing our patios filled with all of you makes all of it worth every hour of sleep missed.

You asked, I dreamt and now we have TWO patios open daily and live music every weekend. We’ve expanded our cocktail menu and will continue to grow, learn, perfect, and dream.
