I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota.
It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation.

Newborn at home so the dog has to go .

For those who give up their dogs when they have a baby, I'm posting this photo of a family whose 15-year-old Jack Russel Terrier is treated as one of the children (because he was their first child) and who is the protector of his two human brothers and sisters.

Never use the excuse that you had to let your dog go because you have a baby in the family and the doctor advised you blah blah blah and other lame excuses.

Never abandon your pets. They are family ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

"I was heartbroken when my 14 year old angel left me a few months ago. I drove to the shelter to donate her toys and treats and the new bed I had just bought. While I was turning to leave the building I heard soft little moans behind me. A woman was dropping her dog off because he had gotten too old and she was ready to adopt a puppy. This sweet dog had barely ten years old.
As the worker was walking towards the back, I stopped him right away. Without question, I said, HE IS MINE. The adoption is final and now he is happily curled up at my feet, smiling as I write this." Dogs are family ❤

I have been seeing deer ticks on dogs. Important to start their protection. also it's great seeing people walking their dog's...but remember it IS their walk, so let them stop and sniff all they want.

I find many people stop using flea control when it gets cooler outside. This is the worst time to stop. Fleas will jump on the animals warm body . Keep the flea control on into November. Until it snows or a hard killing frost

This little guy was a matted scared mess. He was dropped off at the Beverly Animal shelter and they found him wandering around. He is a very sweet little guy an has his forever home and will be running the household. Please consider adoption. This is what a very matted dog looks like. It is IMPOSSIBLE to brush out. Labradoodles and goldendoodles are high maintenance. They should be groomed every 6 weeks. Yesterday it was hot & humid..dogs will suffer in this weather and and so will his skin
