Welcome Sonney! Sonney is a 24 year old lovely paint horse who has just moved in to enjoy the retired life. We are so happy to have him in our barn.

In search of an experienced groom to work at Silver Springs in Geneva Florida nights and weekends. Our equestrian center has 27 horses on property, with 23 stalls, 13 paddocks for turn out, a covered arena, outdoor jump arena and obstacle courses. We offer trail rides and have access to ride through Geneva Wilderness Area.

About the job: Compensation is based on level of experience. This position is not a riding position but there are some opportunities to ride if the candidate desires. Ability to drive a truck and trailer is preferred but not required. You will work side by side by the barn managers and ensure the cleanliness of the barn and proper care and health of all horses. This includes stall & paddock cleaning, water management, minor first aid, grooming, tacking and untacking and making feed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Attention to detail, ability to be a team player, strong work ethic and dependability are required. Holidays, Nights and weekends are a must.

Our trained staff will spend one on one time with you and your child, walking you through all that getting a horse ready entails, and then we will take your child on a lead line ride. Welcome Cash

The temperatures are finally getting a little more mild, which only means one thing... It's time to go on a trail ride! Come out for a ride with us through the state park. Bring your own horse, or use one of ours! Message us today.

Just a reminder we are now doing trail rides from our property! You can trailer in or use one of our wonderful horses to go on a guided ride!

Is there anything more beautiful or poetic than a horse? We don't think so.

Today is #worldmentalhealthday. We know some seasons are more difficult than others, and we are currently keeping all those in the path of the storms (both Helene and Milton) in our thoughts. We thought it would be a nice reminder that our horses are so good for mental health! Those of us who are around them already know this but for those that aren't around them all the time, did you know how many benefits horses can provide?!

We posted this a couple weeks ago, but here we go again... We are prepping the property as well as we are able. We are grateful for the team we have here, and our amazing barn family! Thank you everyone for coming together to get our property ready for Milton. Praying for safety for our community and state this week. We will be finishing the preparations Wednesday morning. We will do our best to keep everyone updated.
