Happy from Oli, the sweet snuggly tabby who wants nothing more than a home this holiday season! 🦃

Oli was found with his littermates on the streets where they were quickly scooped up and brought in to SAYv's foster network. After a short period, Oli has quickly shown he is ever so adoptable and ready for his furever home! His beautiful tabby pattern on his soft white fur is so unique, come meet him to see the beauty mark under his chin, he loves head scratches and will show it off to you!

Oli LOVES to play, any kind of toy will do! He also pals around very well with all of the other kittens at Petsmart Geneva. Although he is bigger than most of the kitten pack, he is a gentle wrestler! We believe that kittens do best in a home with other high energy cats, so Oli will need to be adopted with another kitten (😻he has LOTS of friends here now!) or be brought into a home with another cat of equal energy levels.

UPDATE! A happy ending as Gingee went to her forever home today.

🙏Thank you to all who liked, shared, commented, considered, and applied for this sweet girl. Thankfully, she’ll be able to enjoy living the rest of her life in a loving home. 🏠

A typical rescue story for an atypical cat.

Gingee came to SAYv Animal Organization in Feb. 2023, as an 8 month old pregnant kitten. Yes, a pregnant kitten. This sweet girl birthed four beautiful boys 🐈🐈🐈🐈, all of whom have found homes. Sadly, this is the “typical” part of the story.

The atypical part? Gingee is a rare female orange tabby, a gentle soul, who is resilient and has not lost her faith in humans.💕

Gingee has been housed at Petsmart Geneva twice. Most recently, since early Oct. where she has been passed over by adopters. Every. Single. Time.

⏰Gingee’s time is up. It’s urgent for this sweet mama to move out of a 3’ x 3’ metal crate, and into a comfortable loving home. She has the potential to be a great pet, loving and playful. It’s a little hard to see that in the shelter environment, where she appears depressed and withdrawn.

Who can give this girl a good life🏠? We are doing our best, but she deserves so much better than she’s getting right now.

On this we are going on a journey to get to know the wonderful, beautiful Krakow! ✈ Thankfully, to enjoy this particular kitten version, you don't need to go any further than Petsmart Geneva.

Krakow and his brothers were found as strays in the streets of Chicago. They came to the store during our adoption event where Krakow proceeded to relax and take a nap in everyone's arms, even with the hustle and bustle of a Sunday in the suburbs! His ability to keep cozy and take life one cat nap at a time is something we should all try to learn from! 😻

He is currently available as a foster-to-adopt candidate. We believe that kittens do best with a companion, which means that this cutie will need to either be adopted with another cat or kitten or into a home that has a playful kitty friend for him to play with.

🌧On this less-than-pretty day, we are featuring on precious miss Christine who is currently residing at Petsmart Geneva with her brother Paul, and sweet mama Beth. She has been growing up with SAYv after being at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) for a short while as critical care cases. Thankfully a wonderful foster scooped up this family and gave them much needed love and care that they need!

Given her rough start, it is understandable that Christine is cautious in everything that she does, but an absolute treat to behold! Her unique beauty mark on her nose and quiet nature make her a purrfect candidate for a quiet home. She is queen of hide and seek, finding all of the tiny crevices and cat holes to hunker down in, and she does enjoy some quality play time with her brother Paul. We believe that kittens do best with a companion, which means that this cutie will need to either be adopted with another cat or kitten or into a home that has a kitty friend for her to be properly introduced to.
