My name is Anthony Koziolek and I have been a resident of Owatonna my entire life. I currently live in Geneva Minnesota - about 23 miles south of Owatonna. I’ve been hunting and fishing ever since I was able to shoot a gun and cast a lure. In high school and college I drew wildlife art pieces and since graduation I’ve been able to bring my artistic abilities to my part-time taxidermy job. I am mar
ried to my wife, Jen and together we have two beautiful children. My wife is a teacher in the Owatonna school district and I work full time for the City of Owatonna as the Engineering Tech 3 Survey Crew Chief. I have a college degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Park and Recreation. While I was going to college, I understudied retired master taxidermist, Jerry Schaefer from Madison Lake, Minnesota. Jerry Schaefer is featured in many taxidermy publications with his products and ideas. I also went to the world renowned master taxidermist Dan Rinehart’s Taxidermy School in Wisconsin. I’ve been doing taxidermy for over ten years and I am committed to updating and learning new techniques. I am licensed through the state of Minnesota and have the federal license as well. I am also a member of the Minnesota Taxidermy Guild. I have my own pressure tanning machine so your capes and hides never leave my shop. This speeds up the process because I can flesh, tan, and mount your items in the same day. Pressure tan is a wet tan just like what I would receive back from a tannery. It produces a white leather tan appearance which is just as good as a tannery. It actually cuts the cost of shipping and time waiting to receive them back. Thanks for taking the time to check out my website. Please feel free to call or send me an email if you have any questions. I look forward to making your mounts memories that will last a lifetime!
