Can you imagine what a great relationship we could have with Jesus if we would love him like we do our cell phones! Think about it , for a lot of people it’s the first thing they reach for in the morning , they can’t go anywhere without it, We trust if we have a problem our phone will save us whether it be a phone call or a web search! Just saying if we could love and trust Jesus that much it would be a great relationship!!!!! I had this idea because I to am guilty of this .

BURRR! Here in Northwest Arkansas it is COLD. I have my Woodstock going AND the fireplace, the I am wrapped up in my electric throw blanket. I thought, man I would just like to be lazy today, then I thought, WOW, I am so glad God doesn't take lazy days! So opened my Grandmother's Bible and was reading today's devotion. Boy does God point things out at times!! The title is "Following God's Plan"
Part of the devotion says, "A common mistake among Christians is to follow their own desires and plans, then ask God to bless the path they have chosen. However, deep spiritual peace and joy will never be discovered in pursuing our own will. Since God is our creator, He is the only one who knows how we should live, and why we are here.
True success in life is only measured by how closely we have followed God's plan for us. Those who live close to Jesus experience the reality of their Savior's words when He said ' My food is to do the will of Him who sent me, and to finish His work.' John 4:34
