This is a completely true story…we are on the way to get family pictures for Everest’s first birthday and Estella asks “Can I get a picture of just me and my puppy(Rolex)?” I say “well I don’t see why not!” Then she follows it up with “Can he wear a pink bow to match me?”(Remember we are already in the car headed to pictures) I start to say “He doesn’t have a Pink bow” and then remember he competed in teams in Rally at Nationals(and his team won!) and his team was called the Bowtie something or other and they all wore bowties! (Estella had no knowledge of this pink bows existence). I just so happened to have put this Bowtie in the “dog bucket” in my car back in May and it just so happened to still be there so I answer “Well I don’t see why not!” Mom’s magical messy car for the win!!!

What an adventure!!! Rolex received an Award of Merit yesterday at Westminster! So proud of this youngster holding his own on such a big stage! He started his career two years ago this weekend with a best puppy in show and the dreaming began!

Beyond the show ring he really showed off and was a wonderful mascot for the breed. He made so many friends young and old, was quite the gentlemen all weekend and most importantly enjoyed rolling around with his kids being the solo dog getting all of their attention!

I could not have gotten to have this experience without all of the insane amount of help and I appreciate everyone’s part in Team Rolex!
My in laws, brother and sister in law and ever supporting husband all made the trip and helped manage the two kiddos! All of our other critters are divided amongst our neighbor, my mom, and Hotel Apollos! Ali Apollos did the magical transformation from
Farm dog to show dog prior to leaving! Takes a village and I’m thankful for you all!

Happy Mother’s Day! Rolex took his mom R***r for a pool spa visit for Mother’s Day before she went to Hotel Apollos to watch Westminster from the couch!

Happy birthday to the “Bourbon” litter! I just can’t believe it’s been a year! Estella still asks about them, loves hearing about all the adventures they are on and seeing their pictures as they grow up! Thank you for continuing to share them with us!❤️💕

They wanted more!!! Select at Spaniel Club today! 🎉🎉🎉🎉Thank you Ali for doing a spectacular job with Rolex today! You all looked great together! Everest and I were on the edge of the rocking chair cheering you all on! Thank you judges Cindy Lane and Ann Yuhasz for finding this youngster in a nice lineup! Thank you to my dog show family for all the support even when I’m not there in person!❤️💕

Thank you Ali for showing Rolex at the WSSCA Specialty at Spaniel Club today while I’m home with the babies! So sad to miss it but loved watching you all! Way to go team bringing home an Award of Merit!

Almost didn’t enter this weekend being a week short of 8 months pregnant but so glad I did! Home turf at the Bluegrass Classic brought us some good luck! First weekend out as a special and this boy brought home 3 grand champion majors! 2 BOB for 5 pts, 1 BOS for 3 pts! 2 OH BOB and 3 BBE BOB!!!!! So proud of Rolex and time for a well deserved break while we wait for human little brother’s arrival and complete health testing! Another great weekend catching up with friends!

I’m a little behind on my Rolex updates! Last month we finished his Championship at 20 months old! So proud of this pup as my very first bred-by champion out of the bred-by classes! It was a great weekend with friends and I even got to see Lady(previously Keeper/Envy) who came with her family to cheer us on! Rolex was very excited to see his half sister and of all the excitement of the weekend it is the most fulfilling to see a pup placed in such a loving home. You guys are doing a great job with her!❤️💕 Rolex is now CH Great Expectations Everlasting Gobstopper!

That’s a wrap on the Bourbon litter! Pinky Buffy went to her new home this week and it couldn’t have been a better fit! She is now Hazel!❤️💕 With all the puppies gone, the other fur babies are getting extra attention.
