Thank You Gab News.

Penn Fox, 18, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at his home in Georgetown, SC.

Penn was rescued and adopted by Dr. Ernest J. Fox, Jr. DVM in 2010. He was very loyal and devoted to his dad. They were constant companions. Penn was a beloved behind-the-scenes fixture at Westview Animal Hospital from 2010 to 2022. Both the staff and clients loved him.

Penn had many hobbies and interests. He was a huge Clemson fan and was rarely seen without his Clemson collar and bandana. Penn loved traveling, whether it was to Clemson, South Carolina, or just a few blocks to the bank. He loved crunchy vegetables, particularly broccoli and cauliflower. Penn was not a fan of cats but loved to watch them on video. He loved squeaky toys and going for walks. He loved a good snuggle, treats, and table food. Penn was comical, feisty, and quiet but very observant.

After his dad's death, Penn was adopted by Veronica Smith-Schwartz. Penn brought a lot of joy and comfort to the Schwartz Family. He enjoyed his time with them during his twilight years.

Penn was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Ernest J. Fox, Jr. DVM. Penn is survived by an extensive list of family and friends. His passing marks the end of an era and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

April Fools Day was always a day full of pranks and shenanigans.
Enjoy this epic prank that we pulled on Dr. Fox. I am sure some of you remember seeing these hanging around the office.
Very bad photoshopping in very familiar scenes. 🤣
He loved them and wouldn’t let us take them down for at least a month. 🤣

A note from Veronica:

I have been receiving phone calls and messages inquiring about my absence from Fidelis Animal Hospital.

I resigned from Fidelis on November 15th. I felt that this was the best move for me personally as I have fulfilled my commitment in the transition of Westview Animal Hospital to a new owner/veterinarian.

Although I miss my clients and pets that I have loved serving over the past 19 years, 2023 has been a year of change and growth for me.

Thank you for your love and support over so many years. It has been an honor and privilege to serve you. I will miss seeing all of you professionally but you will be in my heart for eternity.

Love, Veronica 🩷
