GAO has two lovely kittens available for adoption!
Pepper and Crescent will be altered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready for their loving homes. Pepper (the gray tabby) and Crescent (the orange tabby) are sweet and well-socialized. We encourage inquiries from people who will make these kittens part of their family and keep them safely as indoor cats. Both kittens came from a rough start at a feral colony, but have been well cared for since they were very young in order to get them started on their way to a forever home. Contact GAO at [email protected] for more information.

We are seeking a compassionate foster to accompany her on her journey back to health.

THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Please email [email protected] if you can provide her with a temporary home while she heals. All supplies and medical care covered by the rescue.

These lovely puppies are available for adoption from the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. GAO has been assisting with them and want to help them find good homes. Their lovely mom wandered onto a farm in Coupland and then started having her fifteen puppies in the barn! Amazingly eleven of her babies survived. They are going into separate foster homes now, but if you are interested in pre-adopting one, you can apply here:

Kitty was trapped in Central Georgetown on May 20, 2024, and unfortunately escaped from the trapper’s home the same night. Was to be transported for neuter and vaccinations and returned to his home following day. Many sightings of this kitty have followed. One is a real good possibility. If you see a kitty like this, probably a little thinner and raggedy by now, Please contact number on flyer. 512-983-5046
THANK YOU!!!!!

Ps: strong identifying feature…. Long wifey WHITE whiskers!

And another beauty! Introducing "Bonnie Fluffy" - the female baby available for adoption from the Great Pyrennes litter. She is precious and a bit smaller (though that's all relative, LOL) than most of her big brothers. She's got a very gentle personality and a wonderful smile. Contact us for more information on this baby. All of the pups have had their puppy vaccination series (culminating in their rabies, microchip, final DAPP, and spay/neuter surgery coming up soon).

Check out this stunning Great Pyr puppy - Purple Fluffy! There are several looking for homes. GAO is helping the foster find wonderful places for them. The pups are typical great pyrs - laid back, huge, sweet, chill. Lovely babies. If you are interested please email us and we'll connect you with the foster. Pups will all be fully vaccinated and GAO is covering costs of spay/neuter and microchips.

UPDATE: RESCUE SECURED! Thank you to Bichon Frise Club of America Rescue for finding him a foster home in Maryland!!

Sweet little 8 year old Toby lost his home and is now looking for a new one - someone who will love him forever! We're just starting to learn more about him since he went into a foster home. He'll arrive here with Georgetown Animal Outreach next Tuesday and we will be able to tell you so much more about his personality. But we know he loves people and seems to just ignore other dogs. If you're interested in advance of his arrival, let us know and we'll set-up a meet-and-greet for next week. You can email his foster coordinator at [email protected] for more information.

Bonnie does fantastic with other dogs and often cuddles and plays with them.
We need help rehoming Bonnie. We hate to do it because she is the sweetest and loves to be loved.
Whoever dumped her at the house was rather mean to her. She flinches and sinks to the floor if you move too fast around her, but she is still the sweetest.
Bonnie is a lab mix (guess) about one-year-old.
She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She is heartworm-negative and has been kept on prevention.
She has a microchip.
She is sweet, cuddly, and super athletic.
She knows basic commands, is housebroken, and loves kids. However, she needs some patience and work on leash training.
We will send her flea/tick, heartworm medication, and food.
Bonnie is a referral dog. For more information contact her current owner at [email protected] and they will be in touch with you.

UPDATE: Beatrice found her forever home!!
Meet Beatrice! This gentle old gal is about 10 years old, walks beautifully on a leash, gets along well with all the other dogs, and is just an all-around gem. If you want a sweet, older companion, please consider lovely Beatrice. She's probably a lab/shepherd mix, weighs about 45 pounds, is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, spayed, and on heartworm preventative. We think she probably had quite a few litters in her life. And she's the perfect baby-sitter for Maple (the other foster dog in the household). Beatrice is a Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter dog and can be adopted through them. Contact her foster - [email protected] - if you would like to meet this gal.
