When Alvin was found, his injured spine had us thinking he’d never walk again. But this determined boy had other plans! 💪 Slowly but surely, he’s regained use of his 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗴, and thanks to our staffs' and volunteers' dedication with daily exercise and playtime, he’s getting 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗿. Now, he’s officially 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲—and ready to find a home where he can keep proving the impossible wrong!

Some of you may have witnessed today's 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲—our very own 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗶 was on the run! This speedy pup took us on quite the chase down Inner Loop, not realizing we were just trying to help. After a full-speed adventure that led him all the way to Churchill Farms, he finally ran out of steam and let us leash him up for a safe return to the shelter.
A 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 to our incredible community who slowed down, stopped to assist, and even gave staff a lift to help us catch up with our fast-footed friend! We’re also so grateful to the 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 who jumped right in to keep eyes on Houdini and help bring him to safety.
Now that he’s back, one thing’s for sure—Houdini is an 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 pup! He’ll need a home with secure fencing or a family ready to keep a close eye on his magical disappearing acts.
