Yee-haw!! KDChi is kicking off the spring semester with five open rush events before our closed rush process. All events are come and go; you do not have to stay the entire time for it to count towards the two required rush events. For more details about each event:

Cowgirls n’ Collages: tap into your creativity by crafting up some vision boards with us

Giddyup and Guess: test your knowledge of Latinx culture by participating in Latina Trailblazers Jeopardy

These Boots Were Made for Walking: lend a helping hand to cleaning up our beautiful campus by walking as a group and picking up trash

Horsing Around: join us in a fun evening of various board games

Sweet Tea at Sundown: learn more about our chapter with a presentation and complementary sweet tea/snacks

Last weekend 5 of our sisters had an amazing time at the KDChi South Central Regional Conference! 🩷
We would like to thank all of the district chairs for being there, the Pi chapter for hosting, and all of the sisters we made connections with! 🌹

🐧 Our chapter is excited to announce this year’s Dolores Huerta and César Chávez Dinner and ‘s Jessie Daniel Ames Endowed Lecture in Feminist Studies speaker, Anel Flores (they/she). Anel is a trans, q***r Latina/e artist, writer, activist, educator, and creative coach whose extensive body of work captures the essence of LGBTQIA+ experiences across professional and community spaces.

The Dolores Huerta and César Chávez Dinner will take place on Wednesday April 3 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the McCombs Ballrooms.

This event is made possible by the amazing groups of the Feminist Studies Department, Latinos Unidos, the JEDI Center, Pirates for Pride, LatinXcel, and the Community Chest Fund.
