Human, Speak Dog is now starting a Tootie Tuesday pack!!
We are currently building the pack and taking applications for new pack members! Today kicks off our first Tuesday! Couldn't be MORE excited for these doggos!

Starting today is Cayenne, the spicy hound dog from this past fall, Ralphie the Vizsla from Wednesday Friends, and our newest member, but probably the oldest and wisest wizard, Lux the Pointing Griffon . He doesn't have any eyes, but he knows his way around and LOVES his outdoor time! ❤️

This girl at Human, Speak Dog is off to a pawsome start!! First official trainer DIPLOMA AND GRADUATE...and if i have it my way, the first of many! This is only the beginning, a foundation to continue building and learning.

Kicking off my dog training business this year has proven to be very rewarding. I am so blessed to have amazing supportive mentors, community, family, friends, colleagues, and, FANTASTIC CLIENTS and dog owners--guys, you all know who you are and where you are in my life! I am SO GRATEFUL for the opportunities that have been before me this year to help dogs, help people, grow in experience and practice, learn more and more.
Special shoutout to Jocelyn Meilleur and the APEX VT Dog Training community!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ for your support and acceptance and dream-work!

Human, Speak Dog keeping things busy!
I do not offer a "board and train" to just anybody...
This lil spicy boy needed a place to go while his owner had to travel across the country for a week. We were already working on private lessons addressing house manners and minor resource guarding.
"Cayenne" ain't nothin but a stubborn hound dawg! He's a good boy, just needs to learn where the boundaries are. He does FANTASTIC on pack and has a stellar recall!
We learned "leave-it" with the 🐈 (who was more than happy to run interference and test the crap out of this dog! 😅)

And then there is this big goofy duuuude! Oliver the Golden Retriever. He is a lovebug! But mom's got some work to do on house manners and and healthy pack drive...

And then there is THIS big fluffer nutter of a pool-noodle mix named Sykes! We have a good foundation of basic obedience and leash manners. He has a pretty severe case of leash reactivity, so his process is going to be slow and steady, progressive and supportive... it's about finding that connection of clear communication between human and dog!

October has been a whirlwind of month!!
Sorry the posts have been scarce... but it's not a result of INactivivity that's for sure!

Travis and Jojo finished their On-leash training package! We addressed reactivity and general anxiety in and outside the home. The goal with this little pittie is to be successful on leash when out in public. This is just the beginning of their successful journey! We haven't seen the last of this duo!

Even though our Friendsday Wednesday pack has been a couple dogs less lately, it has helped us focus more on a healthy pack drive dynamic. We've had to make some adjustments and these kids are getting the hang of things. Hopefully adding on soon...and maybe adding in another pack day to Human, Speak Dog during the week!

This is Nala! Our new addition to our Wednesday Friendsday! Because everyone needs a little choco-latte in their life! Nala loves puddles, field runs in the rain, and her new BFF Sasha ❤️❤️

This is BEAR 🐻
He is a Dutch Shepherd/German Shepherd. Signed up for Human, Speak Dog Basic Foundation Training course! He is a REALLY awesome dog! His owners are LOVELY people and have done amazing with him so far in the first 8 months of his life!
So we will be fine-tuning his obedience, social manners, and leash manners.
This handsome dude is wicked smart, laid back, and really cool to work with!

New kid on the block!
Trooper ❤️❤️ the golden retriever. He is a good boy, he was just too overwhelmed at daycare. He proved today that he much prefers to be around neutral social dogs, smell the roses, role in the grass, get his feathers wet in the streams, and just hang out and be a DOG!
I seem to be building a little bit of a "misfit" social pack, but it WORKS!
Coming soon also to Human, Speak Dog will be providing pack walks on BOTH Wednesdays and Fridays! Go team APEX VT!
