Cattlemen’s Congress 2025 - a week to remember! This was our first outing to a show as Cross W Cattle. We enjoyed the week with our Speckle Park family and saw some success while we were there.

It had been over 10 years since I (Ali) had taken cattle to a show. There were a lot of emotions when I stepped back in the show ring. But this time it was with a Speckle Park in hand. It’s hard to put into words what this week meant to me! I’m so grateful to the people who have helped us along the way and those that made this week possible.

Thank you to our family that has encouraged me to embark on this Speckle Park journey from the start. They took on a lot of work behind the scenes to make our trip to OKC possible. They truly are the reason this dream has become reality!

Thank you to our Speckle Park family for everything you have done for us! Thank you for your friendship and support. What a blessing it is to be surrounded by such a special group of people. And, to the people we were able to meet this week - thank you! It truly was a highlight of the week getting to know you all!

Thank you to the bidders and buyers of the 3rd annual American Speckle Park Association sale. Thank you Bill Hewat Blue Ridge Farms for the purchase of our Champion Speckle Park Bull - Cross W Marshall 02M. And thank you Tina Williams for the purchase of our Spot-R-None Mystique 3J embryos! We appreciate your support!

We will always remember our first trip to Cattlemen’s Congress in 2023. That was the year that started it all! It was surreal to come back to the same barn in 2025 with our own string of Speckles. We feel blessed to have been apart of it and look forward to what the future holds!

This Sunday, January 5th at 5:00pm Central is the American Speckle Park Association sale. On offer will be a pack of 3 sexed Female IVF embryos from our matriarch Spot-R-None Mystique 3J. She was the high seller at the 2023 inaugural sale in Oklahoma City. Embryos are USA qualified stored in Valentine, NE.

These embryos are sired by River Hill 12X A’man 94A. He has sired breed leading progeny including the well known D.A.M Dots 94A Electric 31E- who does a great job making top end females. Mystique is a powerful easy fleshing cow. Paired with this sire’s genetics, we’re confident these heifers will fit the mold of any environment!

We are getting ready to head for Oklahoma City in a short few days! We are all clipped and ready for a great show! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Cross W Marshall 02M will be on offer in a little over 2 weeks! He was born 3/17/2024 with a versatile birthweight of 89lbs. We are very impressed with his growth and feed conversion! He has done an impressive 3 lbs a day / average daily gain. This was done even through weaning! He is also dog gentle and has been so fun to be around as we get him ready for the show in OKC. His sire is the well known JSF Unmarked 2D and his dam is a combination put together by Greenwood Speckle Park. He has the genetics to make meat makers, functional females and show ring kind alike! He’s really an all around guy with so much potential! Thank you Hay Creek Speckle Park for giving us the opportunity to purchase the embryo that made this bull calf! If you’re looking for a bull to build your herd genetics around - here he is!

October 1/200 day weight: 570 lbs

October 27/weaning weight: 655 lbs

December 10/latest weight: 784 lbs

Average daily gain from 200 day weight to latest weight: 3 lbs / day

We had the best time at Agribition! We love getting to spend time with our Speckle Park family! It’s always fun to reconnect with friends and shake hands with breeders we’ve yet to meet! We truly enjoyed our time with everyone. Thanks for always making us feel so welcome! ❤️
