Meet youngster, "Jax". Jax is a 7 mth old, semi-rough coat male border collie. He needs a foster or foster to adopt home.
Jax was found by a kind rescuer in middle TN after someone shot him. He suffered some injuries to his neck but, thankfully, has been treated and is healing well.
Despite that cruelty, he is one happy, affectionate puppy. He weighs about 34 lbs so we expect he will grow to typical male bc size of about 40 lbs.
Jax loves people, other dogs and, we've discovered he has some awesome herding skills. His keeper said he will bring the neighbor's goat to her back door for a visit .😂
Jax is vaccinated and will be neutered. He is also housebroken

UPDATE: BUZZ IS LEAVING THE SHELTER FOR A (HOPEFULLY FOREVER HOME)

Gorgeous bc boy, "Buzz" needs help. This 14 mth old border collie is in a west TN shelter and needs to get out. We will take him into rescue and cover his vetting if we can find a foster.
Here's the good news.... he is young, happy and loves other dogs
Here's the harder news... he is heartworm positive. We will cover the costs of this treatment if someone will step up to foster him.
That's what he needs and needs it badly. Just look at those eyes.

SCOOTER IS ADOPTED. HAPPY LIFE SWEET GIRL!

Who can foster or foster to adopt this pretty girl? This is "Scooter", a one yr old female border collie. Her owner has suffered serious health issues and has had to give her up. This beautiful girl is "Dolly" and she needs a foster. Dolly is the mama of Brynn and Teddy posted below. She is an aussie mix and just barely a year old.
Her rescuer tells us that Dolly is "Sweet as sugar" and loves other dogs and kids. We have no information about cats.
Dolly is housebroken and vaccinated and will be spayed.

UPDATE: BRYNN AND TEDDY ARE ADOPTED. HAPPY LIVES SWEET BABIES!

Meet Brynn and Teddy! They are siblings of the last puppies posted, Aspen and Aria. They are close to 10 weeks old now and personalities are coming out. Brynn is a more sensitive girl and is a bit shy at first, but is lots of fun as well as being super affectionate. Brynn loves to lay on your chest or under your chin and spoon. ♥️ Teddy is more confident with a big personality! He, too, is super affectionate and is a Velcro boy, but also loves loves loves play. They are both so smart and are doing well with their house training, crate training, and learning commands like come and sit!

UPDATE; ODIN IS ADOPTED!! Meet "Odin". This boy lost his home through no fault of his own and now needs a new one. He is just a wonderful, all around good dog. He has been raised with children, cats and other dogs and loves them all. Odin is about 21 mths old.

Here's what his foster says about him,
" Odin is a lovely dog that still has a lot of puppy in him. He is environmentally sound. He will startle at loud noises and then go in to investigate. He was ready to play within a few minutes of getting out of the car after a ~3 hr car ride and having no experience with me other than me picking him up and popping him in the car crate.

He loves people and dogs of all sizes. He needs some directions from a dog savvy dog or human to learn polite rules of play, but once he understands, he is a big goofball and has a great time. He is also crate and potty trained and walks well on a leash. He has some prey drive but is easy to redirect off prey outside.

Speaking of prey drive, he shows lots of interest in barn hunt and has a good interest in disc (has already caught rollers). He adores tugging and his herding ball. My guess is that he would make a great casual/first dog sport dog that could do a little bit of a lot of things.

However he would also be an amazing active companion. He loves exploring new places. We haven't gone for a hike yet, but I think he'd love going on long hikes with his person.

He's super sweet and just wants to be with his person. I laid down in his bedroom (yes he has his own room until he is fully integrated with my crew) to catch my breath when I wasn't feeling well and he brought me a few toys. When I didn't respond more than a few soft words, he snuggled down next to me and just waited for me to feel better.
I would call him a medium energy dog, and with proper exercise he settles well in the house. He's got this amazing coat that is soft and silky, but his new family should be prepared to brush him regularly. I think he would be fine as an only dog or with another dog-savvy dog. "

UPDATE: ZUKO IS ADOPTED
Meet "Zuko".
This stunning boy is a purebred male border collie and he is something special. Zuko just turned one and he is a happy, well cared for boy. He is crate trained, housebroken, knows to bring a bell to go out, adores kids and loves other dogs. He has not met cats so we can't tell you anything about that.
He needs a new home because his owner is moving and trying to do the best for this boy. He tells us that Zuko hasn't met a stranger and, if he saw someone come in the front door, he would make sure they knew to pet him.
Zuko is one of those border collies that will play frisbee or chase tennis balls until the thrower wears out because he doesn't. He is high energy and needs someone that understands and appreciates that about him. Endless play is his joy.
Zuko is up to date on vaccines and will be neutered prior to adoption.

UPDATE: WAYLON IS ADOPTED!!

Meet "Waylon" This very great aussie boy is about 2 yrs old and we rescued him from a middle TN shelter a few weeks ago. We've learned alot about him. His foster says this, "Waylon is super smart and knows many many commands. His foster says that he loves the neighbor's dogs, gives space to the cats and LOVES to play with toys and eat.
Because he is a young herding dog, we think he needs a home with older kids (if there are kids). He really enjoys other dogs, but he would also do fine as an only dog to soak up all the attention. Also, he loves trips to meet everyone at Tractor Supply.
Waylon is vaccinated, neutered and on heartworm prevention. He is housebroken.
He is being fostered near Clarksville, TN and his adoption fee is $325. As with all of our dogs, we will require a fenced yard for him.

Coming to us soon... "Poncho". This stunning boy is a 23 mth old, ABCA registered border collie from working lines. He has had some preliminary sheep herding training and is trained on several basic obedience commands.
He is coming to us because, although he lives on a working farm, his thing is really just to hang out with his people. He has no real interest in a herding career. He loves kids, other dogs and cats.
Poncho's ideal home would be with experienced border collies folks who would love to take him everywhere they go.
