Meet Snowzilla, this thing is an absolute giant and it was harvested in Wisconsin. I had to custom cast the head due to the fact no one sells a snow goose head as large as this guy had. It was an absolute pleasure to work on this bird.

Well I managed to pulled a blue ribon in the Open Division at State. Alot of sleepless nights, hard work and cuss words (😆 hence the name) went into this little guy. I met some amazing taxidermists and I'm abousltly speechless on the amount of information I acquired in the last couple days. Thanks to my wife and everyone who's helped me along this journey.

Had a little set back in the shop last week but we're working extra hours to catch back up. The start of a 3 bird piece.

Meet the one eye'd shop dog, Gator. One hell of a bird dog but even a better shop partner. Most of the time he spends down in the shop he's sleeping but wonders over for a fix (A sniff of the bird on the bench) then goes back to his bed.

Hands down my favorite bird to work on. Smaller than a mallard but twice the work of a mallard.

Shot to absolute s**t, 2 shatter wings, 2 shattered legs, a big hole in the back and dog holes. I pulled #2 steel shot, #5 bismuth and blindside shot out of him when skinning. Originally this was going to be a flying pose but after discussing it with the client we came to the agreement of letting me do whatever i had to do to make this Pinny turn out. We ended sharing a laugh over how bad it was shot up.
