We are now carrying Gage’s Feline Felts !! They are very unique, fun and cute little handmade catnip toys, and cats have been loving them! :-) Gage has a great talent with these and is a very nice young man who clearly loves animals.

Nirvana Animal Rescue has saved Emi from being killed, and they are trying to get her the help that she desperately needs. Nirvana Animal Rescue continuously saves many wonderful dogs from being euthanized (due to lack of space or funds to care for them).

Please meet Emi, who is named after the Japanese word for beautiful blessing 💜 After a long wait for transport and various weather-related delays, Emi is safe in a foster home with us. Upon arrival, it was clear Emi is in a lot of pain around her vaginal area. She is extremely swollen and dirty from sitting in her own mess, so our first order of business is treating her for what we suspect to be a vaginal/bladder infection. She’s very sensitive in her hind area so we are being very careful about handling her until we know she’s feeling better.
The good news is that she has great mobility and can pretty easily drag herself around already, despite being very underweight. Once we address her more urgent medical needs, she’ll see a specialist to determine what is causing the paralysis and if there is anything we can do to correct it.
Despite the ordeal she’s already been through and the fact that she’s in pain, Emi is the absolute sweetest dog. We can see the gratitude in her eyes and cannot wait to see that frown turn upside with the love and care given by her foster family ❤️
Caring for a paralyzed dog requires a lot of supplies and a LOT of cleanup, especially since it’s imperative we keep Emi squeaky clean to prevent any further infection. Please consider donating to her care via the Amazon Wishlist below! All supplies will ship directly to Emi’s foster home 🫶

Please help!

Zara is still looking for a temporary foster from November 27-30. She is not a candidate for boarding and we've been unable to identify a temporary foster for her from our existing fosters. We are coming to the community in hopes we can identify someone to watch Zara for just four days 🙏

Zara is our longest resident and has been trained professionally when she was 4 months old and more recently when she had to leave her puppy foster home. She scored herself a wonderful full-time foster family where she is thriving! Unfortunately we haven't been so lucky in finding a temporary foster for her while her foster family travels out of town. Zara is a shy girl who takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, so boarding is simply not an option for her, nor would it be fair to her. While she does have doggie friends, it takes her time to warm up to new dogs as well, so with how short the foster period is we're looking for a temporary foster without other dogs or who can keep her separate from resident dogs.

🐶 professionally trained and crates well during the day and at night
🐶 loves hikes, walks, and runs, but also content (and enjoys) cuddling on the couch
🐶 walks well on leash and constantly checks in with her handler

If you don't have any current pets but want to share some puppy love for a few days; or if you have pets and have a spare bedroom/basement where Zara can hang out for a few days, please consider temporary fostering Zara! She promises to repay you with endless cuddles, kisses, and love! ❤
