Neely had a nice weekend at CDSP trials at OTCH in Mechanicsburg Aug. 19-20. He failed his first run (Utility C)--the first exercise was the moving stand for exam and maybe he didn't realize it was time to work. Instead, he wiggled at judge Joan Klingler, turned around, and sniffed her pockets. He redeemed himself by winning his Open C class over some very good dogs. AND he nailed both his Utility B baseball bonuses. At left is judge Anne Papalia, who awarded him four of the rosettes shown. (This is the first time we've tried the "slideshow" option. I elected to not add any music--you're welcome.)

Neely's UDX-C3 and OTCH-C run
This is Neely's run to finish both UDX-C3 and OTCH-C on May 26, 2017, at Bella Vista Training Center. The test score was 190.5, which by itself finished UDX-C and was worth 4 OTCH points. We also did the bonus, which was scored at 18 points out of a possible 20. That brought the total score to 208.5, making it worth 15 OTCH points--4 more points than we needed to finish the OTCH-C title.
Neely's first AKC Versatility Q
Here's the video of Neely's first Versatility qualifying score. Judge Craig Bohren was presiding with good humor at the totally full trials. Neely and I were the last team of the day.
Scent Seminar Feb. 26,2017
Neely tried out an introduction to Nosework at a seminar at Point of Rocks. He was only hunting for kibble, no oils.
