Gettysburg Riding Club, Inc. Alice and Kennie Foust Equestrian Park is home to the Gettysburg Riding Club, Inc. Gettysburg Riding Club, Inc. We promote horses and horse activities.

It is our mission to promote horses and horse activities in and around our surrounding area. is a non profit riding club that is open for membership to anyone in the surrounding area that has an interest in horses and ponies. We hold several trail rides a month and we sponsor several horse shows at our club grounds. Some of the proceeds of these shows are donated to the Adams County 4-H Horse Club

, and the Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding program. We are also the longest continuous contributor to the Gettysburg Hospital. The last few years the money goes to the Cardiac Rehab Department for scholarships for Adams County residents that do not have the money for rehab.

Judy Sterner of the Gettysburg Riding Club, Inc is shown presenting a check to Rachel Stoner and Dolly Greenholt of the Shining Stars Therapeutic Ministry from the benefit horse show that was held in April. This year the benefit show will be held on Saturday May 3rd, 2025 at the Gettysburg Riding Club. Everyone is welcome to come out and show your horse or to watch everyone show their skills with their horses.

Gettysburg Riding Club, Inc is the longest continuous contributor to the hospital. Because of the sponsors and ads and all the participants in our horse shows we are able to do this. A big thank you to everyone that came out to our final Blue Gray show for the year. The circuit had challenges this year with the heat and with predicted bad weather that never happened. We had a good year and hope to see you next year. Thanks to everyone that made the year a success. That means all the exhibiters and all their helpers and especially to all our volunteers. We would not be able to to what we do without all our volunteers. You are special!

Don't forget! Saturday, September 14 is the last Blue Gray show for this year. Check out bluegrayhorseshows.com for entry information and class lists. Get your pre-entries in!
IF you haven't ever shown at a Blue Gray Show, please come and check us out. You will be able to show in a whole division, which is 3 classes, for the price of 2 classes.
OR if you have a young or new horse you just want to experience being around lots of horses, bring them out to graze on some of our ever growing grass. We just ask you to do it safely.
Come on out and enjoy your day! Sweet Patch will be there with all her good food, so come hungry!

Thank you everyone that came out to enjoy and have fun at our benefit show for Shining Stars Therapeutic Ministries. The weather was kind of crappy, but I still think everyone had a good time. We enjoyed meeting some of you for the first time and seeing friends that we have had for years. We couldn't have had a successful show without each and everyone of you.
