Chewie Update🐶💙

Andree Richard and daughter Amanda would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and also everyone who has donated financially.

October 8th Chewie was put under anesthesia for surgery. When they opened him up they found that the affected area was far down into the pelvic area, it in fact is cancer. The doctor seen it had spread to the lymphatic system as well. They were unable to continue the operation. They sent Chewie home with medication so he could be comfortable and receive all the lovings from his family.

October 17th he had his last burst of energy, he went on 2 walks and played ball with his owners Andree and Amanda. Yesterday took a turn for the worse, they had to make the hard decision that no one ever wants to make, to contact the vet to put him down.

As of 9:00AM today, Chewie has crossed the rainbow bridge and no longer suffering.

We are going to miss sweet Chewie very much, our hearts go out to his family.
We are still continuing the dog cookie sale and the raffle until November 3rd. Winner will be drawn on November 4th.
Anyone wanting to donate can do so through Venmo or cash.
