Grooming by Dorothy Wilson Shop Policy’s
• I operate by appointment only, should you arrive early for your appointment the shop may be closed.
• My shop is small, I do my best to stagger appointments/pickup times to avoid crowding. Please be patient if this occurs.
• If you do not show up for an appointment and fail to notify me 24 hrs. Prior to your appointment it will be considered a “No
call/No show”. These are the following actions that will take place
1. First time you will be charged ½ price*
2. Second time you will be charged full price *
3. Third time you will no longer be permitted to use my service
* This includes your pet(s) that were scheduled. Payment must be made before making your next appointment
• Please wait for my call/text telling you your pet is ready to be picked up. Your pet must be picked up within 30 mins from the time I call. In the event I am unable to contact you, there will be a $15.00 charge for every 30 mins after your pickup call. This avoids overcrowding, confusion, and the extra time needed to resume work on the dog that I may have on the table when there is an unexpected arrival. .
• Flea infested pets will be charged an extra $10 flea fee.
• If your pet is matted, I may not be able to tell the extent of the matting when I first asses your pets coat condition. I will contact you as soon as I know further details and advise you of extra charge. Even when shaving down a matted pet, extra time is needed to ensure the safety of your pet. Possible ways to avoid this extra cost are to change your pet's grooming schedule with less time in between grooms or perhaps shorten your pet's groom so he is easier for you to maintain at home. I will gladly help you on ways to maintain your pets coat condition to avoid future matting. I strive to make them look their best with the least amount of stress.
• There is no "flat fee" for grooming. Prices are based upon your pet's behavior, type of groom, frequency of groom and coat condition.
