Shelby is scheduled to be euthanized on Wednesday, August 28th. She is a lab mix around 5 months old. If you are interested in adopting her or have questions come by the shelter between 10AM to 4PM Monday through Friday!

BE HEAT AWARE

I set this kennel in the back of my pickup for 15 minutes. Temperature outside is 89 degrees. Digital temperature gauge inside kennel was 104 degrees at end of 15 minutes. We pulled a large dog from this kennel in the back of a pickup ...body temp was 104.3 degrees! Please educate through sharing this.

PLEASE HELP US FIND THE GOOD SAM WHO MISTAKENLY TOOK THIS DOG!!! The Bastrop Animal Shelter is closed for intake so he did not end up taking her there as he told my friend's neighbor he was intending to do.
