Summer is a popular time for travel, and we wanted to share some new regulations that the CDC is enacting for dogs planning to enter or return to the United States. Beginning August 1st of this year, all dogs planning to enter the United States MUST be over 6 months of age, have a CDC Dog Import Form, and a signed and USDA endorsed Certification of U.S.-Issued Rabies Vaccination (NOT JUST the standard Rabies Certificate received at the time of vaccination) in order to re-enter the country. This includes Canada and Mexico. There may be extra stipulations depending on the country the pet is returning from. Please follow the link below for more information:
