Signs of dehydration in pets include (but are not limited to) dry nose, excessive drooling, lethargy, sticky gums, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. If your pet exhibits and of these signs, please contact us.

Pet Dental Health Month 🎉

We talk a lot about brushing your pet's teeth to reduce the risk of decay and disease - but how exactly should you do it?

Here are our top tips:

- Buy a toothbrush with a long, curved or a finger brush to reach the back teeth
- Only use toothpaste meant for pets. Human toothpaste can have toxic ingredients
- Allow them to taste the toothpaste with your finger
- Proceed to brush their teeth from the top, sides, and back

2024 is the year of the Wood Dragon. This is a very prosperous year especially for those Dragons. I would try very hard over the next few weeks to organize what you want to manifest in the upcoming year both personally and professionally. The closing of the Rabbit year may bring about quick and sudden changes (as Rabbits do) but this will be followed by the grandeur and awe of the Dragon. In other words, a great year is in store for 2024!! For those of you born in 1964, this is almost a rebirth for you.

With January being National Weight Loss Awareness Month, we wanted to highlight the importance of healthy weight management for our pets.

Extra weight can predispose our pets to certain health conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancers, and more.

To help keep our pets at a weight that makes them feel their best, a healthy diet with regular exercise are the gold standard. At your pet's wellness visits, we will examine their weight and overall health to determine any abnormalities. 🧐
