PERSIAN EYE CARE
•
When adopting a new Persian furry friend, your also adopting a new way of wellness care too which needs to be taken into consideration, especially if you’ve never had a Persian cat before.
•
Most, not all Persians cats have something called “weepy” eyes and, if left untouched, can stain and build up around the cats eye; sometimes may lead to infection. Their eyes will need to be gently wiped twice daily (literally) with special eye cleansing solution or simply warm water on a quilted clean cotton pad. We highly recommend including a tear stain remover, specifically Eye Envy tear stain remover to avoid discoloration around their beautiful 👁eyes.
•
As a new pawrent, here’s a few things to add to your list 📝of Persian cat 🐈 wellness routine.
•
😻If possible start around 3-4 months while they are kittens🐱
•
😻Establish a consistent twice daily routine during a specific time of day.
•
😻 Gently wiped twice daily with warm water on a quilted cotton pad.
•
😻 After that, gently wipe twice daily with moistened cotton ball with Eye Envy all natural tear stain remover solution.
•
😻 Offer a treat after every eye care session to increase a positive association with the task.

Mitten arrived from Nampa, Idaho. Her sweet and curious personality makes her adaptive to new environments, which tend to include tolerance of anxiety and uncertainty should things surface in life. She has a quiet mellow meow, compared to our singer Boopie. But don’t let that fool you as her playful spirit keeps us busy for a while. In addition to Mitten’s playful personality, she loves contact with her trusted companion and night time cuddles.
