Oh my goodness! My wonderful sister with a great eye for details was scrolling and found this photo of the farm!!! It is mislabeled as being in Queen Creek off of Chandler Heights, but this is definitely our Four Silos Farm back when there were actually 4 silos. The history of the farm goes as follows: started around 1925 by Dr. Chandler, then bought by the farming family of the Bogles, next in the late 70’s purchased by the Dobson’s. I moved onto the farm in 1994, at that time there were only 2 silos left standing. My kids grew up playing in that barn, riding horses in the arena, and driving tractors. By the late 1990’s as the Dobson’s retired from farming and land became more valuable for housing, it was gone. Feeling blessed to have had the opportunity to live on a working farm and doubly blessed to still have my little peace of paradise left.
