Today was a great day for axl. Today was the first day he pooped after surgery 🥹 its so crazy how we take the small annoying stuff like picking up poop or the little annoying snapping axl used to do for granted. We decided to set up some blankets for him to sit on with us where we could take his cone off and he could stretch out… he LOVED being able to stretch out, cuddle and lick us. (Dont worry he was supervised with us staring at him the entire time ) . Roxie got some energy out at the park and now we have two fast asleep pups 🐾

SURGERY DAY! Axl had to fast and was a little hungry this morning so he wanted to break into Roxie’s kennel to get her food. He was in good spirits when we got to the hospital. While we were there he gave puppy kisses to the nurses and doctor. He did get a little scared because there was a HUGE shepherd that was just so terrified and barking and anyone know whos Axl knows hes not the biggest fan of new dogs. But he handled it so great. The doc did the exam and is confident she can get him up and running soon. He will need to rest IN HIS CRATE with no fun for approximately 8-12 weeks. This is marathon not a race. Thank you to all the support and donations we have got so far we are so blown away by peoples love for us and our pup. Ill be putting the link in the comments under our vidoes for a while. Roxie is going to need some extra park time till she gets her little buddy back. We have a good feeling anout these doctors and are so thankful for the comfort they provided.
