Here’s the latest update on the found puppy:) He had his very first grooming session and has fit perfectly in with his family and extended family. His new Grandmom shared this with me:

“This is just a quick update on Banks. McKenah took him to the vet yesterday, and he’s in great health! He’s now fully vaccinated, and they estimate he could be anywhere from 6 to 8 months old. He is truly such a blessing and has completely captured both my heart and McKenah’s. He’s the best little guy! I just wanted to keep you in the loop. Have a wonderful day, and thank you for being such an amazing person—your kindness is unmatched!”

Hearing these updates fills my heart with joy! And who knew he could get any cuter???!

FOUND puppy approximately 4-6 months. This sweet boy (on the left) is currently with us, and we’re doing everything we can to help him find his way home! He’s about 13 pounds, losing his baby teeth, and has such a sweet temperament.

We’re committed to ensuring his safety and well-being. If we’re unable to locate his owner, we are committed to ensuring this little guy finds the perfect forever home. We will either work with a reputable local small dog rescue or carefully place him in a loving home with strong, verifiable references. We also require that his vaccines and neutering are prepaid prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting him, please email me a video tour of your home, including all pets and family members. This helps us ensure he will be safe, happy, and well-cared for in his new environment.

Adoption Checklist

When considering potential adopters, we ask:
•Home Environment:
•Is your home pet-friendly and secure (e.g., fenced yard, safe areas for a small dog)?
•Are there any potential hazards (e.g., toxic plants, open pools, sharp objects)?
•Family Dynamics:
Who will be the primary caregiver?
•How does your family (including children) interact with pets?
•Current Pets:
•Do you have other pets? Are they dog-friendly?
•Are all current pets up to date on vaccinations and preventative care?
•Lifestyle:
•Do you have time to meet his physical, emotional, and training needs?
•How often are you home, and what is your daily routine like?
•Financial Commitment:
•Are you prepared for the costs of vet care, food, grooming, and supplies?
•Are you open to prepaying for his vaccinations and neutering?
•Experience:
•Have you owned dogs before, particularly small breeds?
•How do you plan to handle behavioral challenges, if any arise?
