Some clients have been asking about the new K9 virus that is going around in dogs.

We are keeping contact with our local trusted veterinary clinic for updates. As of now there hasn’t been any reported cases in Arizona or our area.

We clean daily, several times a day all surfaces! We are disinfecting our equipment in between each pet! We do not accept pets who show any signs of illness. We are asking everyone please do not bring your dogs to the groomer if your dog is or has been showing any signs of any illness which includes diarrhea, cough, nasal drainage, fever, lethargy, etc.

Just like us, there are hundreds of k9 colds, bordetella (kennel cough) which can be vaccinated against, however there are so many respiratory viruses that can not be vaccinated against and your dog can contract them from anywhere. It’s possible to be in a public place and bring home any airborne virus, it can be on clothing or shoes.

Here at Aardbark Grooming, we are doing our best to keep all clients safe and protected. 🐾 ❤️
