🎄Happy National Poinsettia Day! Poinsettias are a beautiful holiday decoration, but did you know they can be mildly toxic to pets? While not as dangerous as some believe, they can still cause upset tummies and irritation if ingested by your furry friends.🌺

✨To keep your pets safe:

▫️Place poinsettias out of reach.
▫️Opt for pet-friendly holiday plants like Christmas cactus or roses. ▫️Call us if you notice your pet showing unusual symptoms.

We are excited to be hosting a BINGO Prize Drive for the sweet residents at Saluda Nursing and Rehab Center. We are accepting new donations such as the items listed below during normal business hours, M-F 8am -6pm until January 3rd. We have a great local community and we have no doubt that you will help us provide them with fun goodies to win during a round or two of BINGO.

We hope that you are all safe. We are currently experiencing a power outage and are unable to open the hospital today. If your pet is experiencing an emergency please contact CVETS or SCVSEC. We are unable to access the phones and any messages that may be left. We plan to reopen Monday, Sept. 30 and will reach out to you as quickly as possible. Stay safe!

As we gear up for Independence Day, let's ensure our furry friends stay safe and stress-free! 🇺🇸 Fireworks can be exciting for us but scary for pets. Here are a few tips:

1️.Keep pets indoors in a quiet, secure room. 2️.Provide a safe space with familiar toys and bedding. 3️. Ensure all pets have updated ID tags and are microchipped. 4️. Avoid feeding them unfamiliar foods or BBQ scraps.
