We are excited to welcome Dr. Kaitlyn Parsons-Whitmer to our team at Market Street Pet Hospital ❤️
She was raised in Chandler, Arizona where she was able to develop her love for all animals thanks to her parents who allowed all sorts of critters in their home. She graduated from Basha High School then got her bachelors in Science with an emphasis in pre-medicine from Grand Canyon University. She met her husband during her 4th year while attending GCU. They moved to Fort Collins, CO shortly after getting married where she attended Colorado State University - College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in May of 2023. Dr. Parsons-Whitmer’s professional interest include all types of surgery, dentistry, ultrasonography and internal medicine.

The mosquitos are out and they can give your Dog heart worms… live worms in their heart!!! It’s important to get a yearly heartworm check done and keep your pet on a preventative like Heartgard (pictured below). I hope your dog loves it as much as Archie does! 🤩😋

“Meowly Cyrus” is looking for her furever home! She is shy at first, but once she gets to know you she is so sweet and very playful! She is about 1 years old and came to us pregnant. We’ve recently weaned her kittens off and they’ve all found homes. Now it’s time for her to find her furever family! When we remodeled our hospital this summer we added a 2nd surgery room. Here is Dr Jennings in surgery in the new room today! Our doctors are very skilled surgeons. Little “Ellie” came in this morning for her puppy boosters and to sign up on a wellness plan! She was so sweet and did great for her vaccine! This is Alinda. She is our Lead Receptionist. Alinda is the glue that keeps us all together. She is so funny and keeps us laughing every day. People may think that a receptionist just answers phones and makes appointments. But it is actually a very high stress job. She handles prescription refills, client questions and is the go between for the clients and doctors. I can’t even list all the things she does. She is an awesome multitasker! Thank you for everything you do for us. We love you!

Christina has been working along side Dr. Vernon for 20 years! She started as an intern and is now our Lead Tech. If something isn’t working she is your girl. Christina can fix literally anything. She does all of our ordering and helps with everything. She is truly irreplaceable! Thank you for keeping us together and being so awesome! We love you “Tinky”.

Hannah is one of our amazing vet techs. She is a ball of sunshine and will go out of her way to make sure everyone is doing good. Hannah has so much talent. She is awesome at blood draws and setting iv catheters. She is so good at client education and is just a ray of light in our hospital. We love you Hannah! People often think being a receptionist is easy but in the vet field it can be very high stress and fast paced. She LOVES people and pets and always works hard on putting them first.
