Precious, adorable, Glitter Bug is a 2 year old, petite, female, Orange Tabby cat. Of course, all cats are special, but Glitter Bug is also unique. Only 20% of orange cats are female because the gene for orange fur is carried on the X chromosome, and since females have two X chromosomes, they must have two copies of the gene. This friendly, and affectionate girl likes to reward her humans with bunts and purrs. Her favorite activities are catnip toys and playing with wand toys. This little gem is residing at our adoption center and can't wait to meet you!
If you do not want to have kitten fever, stop watching now! We have some adorable kittens who will be at the adoption center on Thursday, February 6th, and Saturday, February 8th, or until adopted. The adoption center, located at 952 W. Melody Ave in Gilbert is open from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday. These three are so cute, you may want to bring your lunch on Thursday and camp out until the doors open at 3:00 p.m. to be sure one of them goes home with you!
Adorable Sylvia is a 4 year old, 9 lb, beautiful, young lady! She can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly! She's a calm, gentle girl who is very low key. Her favorite activities are bird watching, wand and feather toys, catnip and napping! She is a big fan of squeezy tuna treats, and will eat them from your fingers. This darling girl is residing at the adoption center, located at 952 W. Melody Ave, while she waits for you to come in and meet her!
Gorgeous Vespa is a 10 year old lady who has been accused of being a bit of a diva, but with a face like hers, she can absolutely get away with it! Vespa has a playful and entertaining energy, and enjoys catnip, the electric lady bug, and the sparkle wand. She will warm up and snuggle with her humans, when she's ready (so cat-like)! Her favorite activity is watching the birds through the window! She has a beautiful, long coat, which will require regular brushing and grooming. She is residing at the adoption center, located at 952 W. Melody Ave in Gilbert, awaiting her happily-ever-after!
Jojo is a 1 year old, 50-ish pound Cattledog blend boy who joined us recently from Yuma. He is an extremely intelligent and sweet boy who can be nervous in overstimulating environments, and will do best in a patient situation where he can adjust. Once in a calmer setting, he is a very playful boy, who loves to run and play with tennis balls! He is very treat motivated, knows basic commands, including "sit," "wait," and "come," and checks in with his handler frequently. This handsome boy is living at our adoption center and hoping to meet you!

Foxy Cleopatra is a 10 month old, 7 lb, bundle of fun! Just as her name sake would suggest, this darling, petite, girl has the sass and kitten energy you would expect for a ruler of her age. She is friendly, affectionate, and easy to handle and carry. She is very smart and resourceful and will make up games to entertain herself. Her favorite activity is watching and chirping at the birds outside the window. She will one day rule your world, like a boss-lady!
It's Foster Friday and time to celebrate one of the adorable dogs being spoiled by their foster home, while they anxiously wait for their forever human/s.
Colby is a 1-1/2 year old, 39 pound mixed breed boy who joined us recently and he's hoping to find his forever home really soon! Colby probably led a bit of a sheltered life so he'll need a family that will give him time to adjust to new situations. The volunteers describe him as sweet, affectionate, happy, and an all around good boy! He is house trained, dog door trained, and has good leash manners. He has an adorable prance, and a big smile, when he goes for a walk. He enjoys playing with other dogs. His foster mom says he gives great hugs and kisses! Colby will be at the adoption center on Saturdays from 10am-4pm, until adopted!
Ten month old Carley is a volunteer favorite! This petite little girl can be a little bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly into a confident little lady who really wants connection and affection from her human/s. Carley enjoys being pet, and will reward you with her beautiful purr! Her favorite toys are the feather wand, and catnip mouse. This little beauty is patiently waiting at the adoption center for her happily-ever-after. Is that YOU?!
Hello, I am Java Chip, a 14 week old, calm, reserved, gentle, sweet, and soft spoken kitten. Yes, you read that right! I am a kitten and all of those adjectives apply to me!! I also have no problem with the noise of my foster mom's 3 dogs barking or the sounds and smells of her 2 resident cats ...OR... the coming and going of new people and introductions! I purr when you pet me and I love lower back and tail rubs. I don't initiate play and I am actually perfectly fine not even playing at all. I am a quiet observer and my foster mom says that I get my enjoyment from watching everything and everyone around me. If you are looking for a kitten who does not exude the typical kitten energy and chaos, please stop by the adoption center, located at 952 W. Melody Ave in Gilbert, to meet me on Saturday! Ravi the rock star!
It's Foster Friday, and time to meet Ravi! Ravi is an 9 year old German Shepherd blend. He is a big, lean boy and weighs around 75 pounds. Ravi has a very gentle and sweet personality. He loves hanging out on the couch, and prefers to sleep on a dog bed next to his human's bed. Ravi is house trained and dog door trained. He loves walks and he does get excited when he meets other dogs. He loves attention from humans and likes to know where everyone in the house is hanging out. Ravi has previously lived with another dog and a cat (as long as the cat doesn't run!). However, he doesn't like to share his food so he'll do best as your only canine companion (but he can always meet new dog friends as long as there's no food or treats involved!). He is an excellent passenger in the car and seems to really enjoy car rides. Ravi loves toys and balls and has chosen a big stuffed fish as his favorite and carries it around everywhere. He listens and follows directions well. He knows sit, stay, come, wait, and will give you his paw for shake. Ravi is gentle taking treats. Ravi is a "safety first" kind of boy so he has learned to get in and out of the pool! Ravi is neutered, licensed, current on vaccinations and microchipped. He is being spoiled by one of our amazing foster homes, and meet & greets can be arranged by contacting [email protected]
