Hey Catbitat fans and Wannabe Catbitat owners!! It rarely happens (maybe once a year)....but we have some USED Catbitats for sale!!
Our long-time Catbitat client has moved out of the country, and we have the remaining enclosures!

We have three (3) enclosures for sale:

Two (2) 46” x 46” x 60” four-sided enclosures, with Cedar Flooring, Cedar Shelves and soft artificial Turf (over the cedar flooring – removable). Cut-out holes (patchable). ($ 1,400ea when they were new)
$ 650 OBO each

One (1) 24” x 96” x 46” four-sided enclosure, with AWNING, soft artificial Turf Flooring (over mesh flooring) and Cedar Shelves. One cut-out hole (patchable). ($ 1,600 when it was new)
$ 750 OBO

All of these enclosures are ready to use now...but you can update them with our new Cedar Shelves, Hardware and Flooring (we can send you a quote), or you can by local wood of your choice! A little spray paint will have these enclosures looking brand new!!

These enclosures are perfect for patios or people who rent. They are also a great starter enclosure for you to add our tunnels or bridges to!

Hey Catbitat Fans!

After over 10 years as our resident outside Feral, Cloud has finally come inside (sort of)! We installed a small inside Catbitat; initially to lure Fred inside (since we could touch him). After Fred passed, we considered removing it. Occasionally, Cloud would pop inside for a quick nibble, then leave. Now (as it's 110F outside)...Cloud has decided to hang out inside!!

We know she is very old and doesn't have much more time..but we're glad she decided to "come inside and hang with us"!

Now..if we can teach her to use the door flap...I could save my AC bill!

{Note: YES... two barriers (not shown) are preventing our inside cat, Puff, from coming into contact with her}

Catbitat Fans,

This weekend we lost another one of our backyard (feral) clan.

Although Fred had been a daily feature of our backyard for over 5 years, he and his two partners would visit our backyard for over a decade. Eventually, Fred stayed. Although Cloud never developed too much affection for him; Fred was undeterred. He made quick friends of any visiting ferals, and over the past 2 years, he became best buddies with a big Tomcat we call Peppers. He was so happy when Peppers came to visit!

Fred was compassionate, even trying to save Scruffy (in her final moments), and never more than a foot away from Cloud (who is very old) whether she liked it or not.

In the past year, we were able to stroke him and even try to remove the many knots in his long hair.

Fred was always at our patio window, 10:30 PM sharp, waiting for his treats and rubs!

A few months ago, we noticed Fred would stop eating for a day or two, and then return back to normal. Last week was different. He was only drinking water. Last week, he wanted no treats, no rubs. Last week, for the first time in years; we found Fred hiding in a bush...in the front yard.

I took him water, early Friday morning. By the afternoon, he was no longer in our yard. We would have gladly taken care of him, but Fred had other plans. By Sunday, we knew he was gone.
Yes, he was Feral...but we loved him as one of our own. I know you Catbitat fans understand.

I’ll miss seeing that face pressed against our patio door, at 10:30 sharp!.

We’ve got treats for you, Mr. Fred!
