Meet The Team Monday!! 😎🐾

Today we are getting to know our Vet Tech, Ashley! Ashley is a great asset to our team and we are excited to tell you all about her!

Ashley is from Ames, Iowa and is a graduate of the DMACC Veterinary Technician Program, and a Registered Veterinary Technician. For Ashley, the most rewarding part of working at CAC is seeing our patients return to us happier and healthier after receiving care. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her rabbits and cats, crochet, puzzles, reading, going for walks, and anything crafty!

It's Meet The Team Monday!! 🥰🐾

This week is our amazing office manager, Autumn!

Autumn is from North Central Iowa and is a graduate from Iowa State University with a major in Animal Science and minor in Biology. Her favorite part of working at Companion Animal Clinic is getting to meet new clients and their patients, and building meaningful relationships with them over time. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her dog Jean, reading, and being outdoors– whether that's fishing, rock hunting, or hiking.

Meet our July Pet of the Month, the one and only Dave! 😻🐾

Dave was such a sweet patient while he was here for his dental cleaning, and has since stolen our hearts!! ❤

Here's more about Dave from his family (with a little help from Dave himself, no doubt)
"Dave is 10 years old and is an amazing big brother to our three other cats. He wandered onto our family farm one day with a bad leg (He's now a 3-legged cutie). We took him home and everyday since has been an absolute joy. He's incredibly fast, loves to wrestle, and is the ultimate lap cat. He's the best!"

We are so obsessed with Dave and look forward to seeing him next time! 🥰

This week's meet the team is our CSR Aileen! We are so lucky to have Aileen at CAC, and are thrilled for everyone to get to know her!

Aileen is from Riverside, California and is a graduate from Iowa State University with a major in Animal Science Pre-Vet. Out of everything we do at Companion Animal Clinic, Aileen loves the relationships we build with clients and ensuring their loved ones are receiving the care they deserve. During her free time, she enjoys exploring new trails with her dogs, gardening, and learning new hobbies!

We are starting a new series on our social media where each Monday, our community can get to know our wonderful team members!!

This week, we are getting to know Alyssa, one of our skilled veterinary assistants!

Alyssa is originally from Carroll, Iowa and is a graduate of Iowa State University with her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science Pre-Vet. At Companion Animal Clinic, Alyssa enjoys assisting in dental cleanings, and seeing the patients benefit from them afterwards! In her free time, Alyssa can be found playing pickleball, long-distance running, or videogaming! She loves spending time with friends and family– and of course, her cat Mabel!

Important Reminder: Don't forget that we will be closed tomorrow from 8:00am to 12:30pm to accommodate the RAGBRAI festivities! 🚴

After the morning closure, we will be open starting at 12:30pm until our normal closing time of 5pm, so you can still bring your furry friends in for their scheduled appointments! 🐾🐩

We can't wait to see all the cyclists passing through Gilbert! 😎☀

RAGBRAI is just ONE WEEK away!! 🚲☀

To ensure a smooth ride for all the cyclists, we will be closed in the morning on Wednesday, July 22nd from 8am to 12:30pm to allow for the RAGBRAI route.

But don't worry, we'll be back open from 12:30pm to 5pm, so you can still swing by and say hello! 🙋‍♀️
