🐾 In preparation for our floor remodel beginning 12/10, we will begin packing up our prescription diets at the end of this week. If you need to pick up any food prior to 12/10, please give us a call this week so that we can have it ready and set aside for you. Thank you!🐶🐈

🐾 Dear Clients and Friends,

We’re thrilled to announce that our clinic and boarding facility are getting a fresh new look! We’re remodeling our floors, boarding runs, and care areas to make your pets’ visits even more comfortable, safe, and welcoming.

To complete this exciting renovation, we’ll be closed for all services and boarding from December 10 through December 15. We’ll reopen and be ready to welcome your companions again—just in time for the busy Christmas and New Year holiday season!

If your pet has upcoming medication refills, please plan to pick them up before December 10 or after we reopen to avoid any lapses in treatment.

During the remodel, our team will still be available by phone, email, and message for scheduling, follow-ups, or general questions. If you experience an emergency during our closure, please contact the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine Emergency Clinic at 515-294-4900.

We truly appreciate your patience and support through this project. This remodel is a big step in our mission to provide an even better experience for you and your pets—cleaner, safer, and easier to maintain for the highest standards of care.

🐾 Introducing new patient, Buck! 💕

This precious little Pomeranian is just as sweet as he looks! 😍 Buck has been coming in to get his puppy vaccines booster-ed, and just turned old enough for his first rabies vaccine. We are happy to report that he was a very brave boy!💕

🐾Our second Pet of the Month Winner is Percy!🐈

"Percy was a stray that we picked up in Fairfield, Iowa roughly a year ago this month. We have boarded him twice at Companion Animal Clinic and they have done a spectacular job caring for him. Dr. Haban made a special point of asking if Percy was going to get time outside in the sun☀ Seems like an obvious request, but it was a first for me, and endearing. So, Percy has his own sunroom now! Next time we're going to send the "Bad Kitty Lounge" sign with him to the clinic when he boards!🤣"
