Pittie Me Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer based dog rescue, based out of Gilbert, Arizona. All of our dogs are in foster homes until adopted.

Pittie Me Rescue (PMR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer based dog rescue, dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals in our community. We primarily rescue dogs from our local county shelters, local streets, and neglectful situations. PMR also serves as a venue for advocacy and education. Our goal is not only to rehabilitate and place our dogs in loving forever homes, we also strive to imp

rove the image of the pit bull by educating the general public about these often misunderstood animals. PMR seeks to be a resource to individuals, families, and the Arizona community as a whole. Pittie Me Rescue seeks to use its dedicated and loyal volunteer base to improve the lives of individual dogs rescued from less than perfect situations and place them in permanent, stable and loving homes throughout Arizona. With programs and partnerships throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area, PMR hopes to make a significant impact in the rescue community by being a resource when it comes to pit bulls. Pittie Me Rescue is run entirely by volunteers and one hundred percent of what is collected from adoptions and donations is used to provide care for our dogs including medical needs, spay/neuter, and daily needs while in loving foster homes. Volunteers provide a wide range of services to PMR including foster care, transportation, veterinarian visits, planning and facilitating adoption and fundraising events, working with the animals for exercise and behavioral training, foster coordination, website support, assistance with adoptions as well as other activities that support the mission of PMR.

We are late posting but wanted to give a BIG THANKS on Thankful Tuesday for the love and generosity we received from a few supporters.

Thank you to Nancy, a lover of pitties, for the huge donation of treats, toys, supplements, and food. Alani and the PMR dogs are beyond grateful for the generosity.

Roman also wanted to give thanks to his friends for their generosity and love they showed him and his buds at Pittie Me Rescue.

Pittie Me Rescue is truly gateful for the love that is shown to us again and again.

Her nylabone is her favorite thing to chew, and brings it out of her kennel with her every day :)

When you are the goodest boy you get treated like Royalty. Roman had an outing a few weeks ago with our friends of Celestial Stem. He got to go to Petsmart and pick out his own toy, lunch at McDonalds and then plenty of lovins while visiting Celestial Stem store ! Roman is the chillest boy longing for a couch to call his own. He is a senior that deserves this at the very least.

Update on Ammo. We took him in a few months ago and did routine checkup and labs. His calcium levels were high so we did a follow checkup and his calcium is still high so we drew labs to check his parathyroid levels which were normal. The not so good news is they think he has cancer and we are devastated . He has been very picky with what he eats so we’ve have been giving him canned puppy food. I know it’s a huge ask but we have made a wish list to make the rest of Ammo’s life comfortable and pampered.
