Showing up & considering what the horse needs & what you need is important when building relationships with them. Many times we see individuals projecting their needs onto their horses.
For example that horse seems lonely when in fact it’s a very independent horse. The person usually is needing connection & feels the horse is rejecting them & creates a story that feels better to them.
This isn’t something that only happens with horses & humans. Notice this month how you might be projecting your needs onto your kids, clients, dogs, etc.

Wrangler is such a wonderful part of our program & has been for over 8 years. Today he visited some memory care residents.
He was a wonderful elf for everyone & enjoyed the celebrity attention & treats!
