It's cold out so we are using the snuffle mats that we were able to buy as part of a grant in 2023 through to make meals more interesting and take longer. They help dogs exercise their brains and promotes behavior consistent with their natural instincts as they search for food. Tai is loving the snuffle mat as he and Marley search for tasty morsels.

Well folks, it cold out there. Tai is bell trained (good boy!) and rings the bells to go outside. A few times out earlier today and he understands how cold it is and comes back in quickly. We are getting creative to make sure his mind and body stay active and satisfied inside.

It is going to be extremely cold over the next few days so remember to limit the amount of time that your pets stay outside to avoid frost bite or worse. Let's keep all of our family members warm through the extreme weather. Stay warm, everyone!

This handsome, frosted face belongs to Bear and he is looking for his forever home. He is a senior at 10-11 years old and about 90 lbs. He has lived in a home with other dogs and cats but would also be happy as an only pet to get all of your love. He is still an active senior who loves going for daily walks. He has some anxiety and little kids stress him out so he would do best in a calm home without kids. He needs a good place to spend his golden years so please share to help us find it!

We hope that everyone had a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday. During our family get-together, my niece turned to me and said, "Your dogs and our dogs are like cousins. I think they should be fuzz-ins." That is what they will forever be due to her creative brilliance. I love it. Fosters are obviously foster-fuzzins.
