I love it when little dogs like to be out in the office playing. The big dogs are getting short times out in the snow covered yards and are not enjoying the snow for very long. We stay out with them and freeze on mornings like this and when they start picking their paws up and standing on 3 legs they come in immediately for no less than 30 mins. Our cold weather chart is attached so we know how long they can stay out. We alter for littles and generally start them headed in 5-10 mins before this chart says to. It is always fun to watch them play in the snow!

I love it when people bring us puppies for a daycare day or 1/2 day. I keep them in the office with me most of the time. We go out in the yards, and with the snow they have a really good time, when they start picking their feet up we come back in. We, also, give them plenty of downtime so they don’t get worn out. This is Ghost and he is a bundle of fun! He spent a half day with me this morning, played in the snow, slept on the couch for a few minutes and crashed out waiting for his mom. He also got to play with Rupert and Emmett, two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. We had a good day!

I know this is late but I had to edit the pictures and then I couldn't figure out how to get them all on one flyer so I went with what I could. I love that one of our staff is an artist and can draw the window between the groomer and office to meet the season, THANKS Lily Hutton. Then Santa came to visit and brought some of his elves. The staff brought in their dogs and some of the clients brought in dogs and we had a great time with Santa pics before Christmas. Thank you to everyone who brought their pets and to everyone who participated! I hope you all have a Happy New Year!!

Two weeks ago while I was out of town we got a bit of snow. I just found this on the camera roll for that week. This is Kali and her little friend Belle playing in the snow.

And the tug-of-war is on! It is a beautiful day and the dogs are loving being outside! Rider is a Great Dane mix and one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet and Chewy is a Golden Retriever and he is one of the kindest and sweetest dogs. Buttercup,our mascot, is more interested in Lily, the videographer and employee, than she is the game. Poor Grizzly he is getting too old and grew up with a non-playing dog, he struggles with getting involved but loves to cheer on his buddies.

You can’t have it it’s mine! Pretty sure that is Oliver sitting on the ball but it might be Chewy. Dolly is figuring out how to join in on all the fun and Dopey loves playing tether ball even if no one else will join him.

Cheeto really enjoys slowly walking thru the Splash Pad, or, he really likes getting to the other side and shaking until we are soaked! It’s a toss up I think!
