Did you know that a horse's teeth never stop growing?
Horse's upper teeth sit wider in the mouth than the lower teeth, so when they chew the teeth don't always have complete contact with the opposing tooth. Over time this causes the outside edge on the upper teeth, and the inside edge of the lower teeth to get sharp points. These sharp points eventually become painful to the cheeks and the tongue and end up causing issues with eating.
We can safely remove those sharp points by "floating" the teeth with the use of a small rasp specifically designed for a horse's mouth!
The length of time between floats is horse dependent, but we recommend having your horse's teeth checked yearly!

These additional services include full service boarding in our clean, spacious kennel facility, as well as professional grooming care that will have your animal friend looking, smelling and feeling their very best! Need advice on your pet’s diet? Our nutritional counseling services will help get your companion on the path to a lifetime of good health.
