For The Love Of Dogs

For The Love Of Dogs Fighting for no kill shelters Having recently semi retired, and believing everyone should have a cause. They just don't have a clue what is going on out there .

I took my networking of posting dogs looking for forever homes to a new level. Dogs on the move seemed like a good movements as high kill shelters just don’t seem to be move dogs out . As I surf the web URGENT keeps coming up I would post and pray for someone to adopt , now I am a bundle of nerves trying to decide what direction to go in ! Millions of dogs are being put to death the chances of bei

ng adopted are so slim and the cruel treatment in city and state shelters is going unnoticed, Dogs being hung by their leashes in kennels sedatives not being used before death . The no kill shelters don’t seem to do much better with over crowding . I know long term answer is SPAY/NEUTER but short term I think we need to get network tv involved Americans love their dogs !!!

All I want for Christmas is for every stray cat and dog to have a warm meal, a safe place to rest, and a loving family that will hold them close forever.
Because the holidays aren’t just about lights or gifts—they’re about compassion. They’re about remembering the ones who wander unseen, who still hope for gentle hands and a home to call their own.

May this season open hearts, inspire kindness, and remind us that every little life deserves love, comfort, and a chance to belong.

🚨 BREAKING: It’s being reported that the CDC in the US is ending its experiments on monkeys! Approximately 200 macaques currently used in harmful research will be affected; future research on primates will also be discontinued. 🐵 🙌🏼

This is the latest in a string of good news from US government agencies. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have all announced plans to reduce animal experiments, replacing them with cutting-edge technologies based on how the human body works. 👏🏼

This powerful image contrasts two realities that every dog owner should think about. On the top, we see a happy dog enjoying its spot on the couch, safe and loved in a home. On the bottom, we see a dog chained outside, cold and alone in the snow, a painful reminder of the neglect some animals face. This stark difference speaks volumes about what every dog deserves — comfort, warmth, and companionship.

Dogs are meant to be loved members of our family, not confined to a chain. They are loyal, compassionate, and deserve to share our lives, whether it’s lounging on the couch, playing in the yard, or cuddling up at the end of the day. Keeping them tied up outside only limits their ability to be a true part of the family. We should always be the ones to ensure they feel safe, cherished, and included in everything we do.

The image reminds us of the responsibility we have as pet owners. Dogs are not outdoor decorations or tools; they’re companions who need love, care, and attention. If you’re ever in doubt about where your dog belongs, just think about this: If they want to be close to you, they belong on the couch, in your home, and in your heart. 🐾🏠
